Pokergo Suspends Ali Imsirovic and Jake schindler indefinitely - Poker News

Alongside Triton and pokerstars that previously banned them already pokergo has made their anouncement.

Will WSOP follow as well completely barring cheaters from the live highroller arena for the most part?

All of the titles that they have ever won should all be retroactivly stripped for life - effective this very moment. Whoever won second place to them in all of those tournaments that they won should be awarded the titles. Their names should be banished from Hendon Mob.

This adds a lot of pressure onto the WSOP imo. And THAT would be huge. This is still a nice step in the right direction given how successful Ali had been at the Masters…a real statement from Poker Go and although I’m not a huge fan of their product, I gotta tip my hat to them.

If they are stripped of all titles and their names banished from Hendon and other places, they won't have any public "accomplishments" to use as a reference to take advantage of opportunities outside poker. If they tell a future sponsor/investor that they have had great poker success, they have nothing to show for it. If they say that they have accomplishments but those got erased, then the sponsor/investor would then ask why.

Sure, there is no way to punish them of their past winnings. But their futures can be made slightly more difficult.

Ironically these bans will increase the amount of cheating in the world since they'll go spend their time cheating online instead of doing the live grind

W for the live circuit since two of the best in the world are out of the lineups, L for the online community since they're there again (and cheating)

What would the can of worms be? It’s not like Ali and Jake have a legal right to play the WSOP. If Triton, Pokerstars, and Poker Go can do it then I don’t see why the WSOP can’t.

The WSOP would probably face more heat/drama if they don’t follow suit…it seems like the easier way out at this point.

The way Jake slithered away after busting the final table at last year’s WSOP in order to avoid the interview…Ali putting on his headphones and saying ‘No comment’ anytime someone brought it up, etc. etc.

At the very least the WSOP needs to have a conversation with these two guys and do some type of investigation. This controversy isn’t going anywhere.

I hadn't heard the chip dumping part but I'm admittedly not in the loop. The thing with Ali and Paul Phau's cards wouldn't be as big of a deal if the idiot didn't show up the next day wearing sunglasses for the first time ever.

Obviously it's cheating but it's about the worst way he could have possibly dealt with the accusation and both him and Jake have handled this whole thing in the worst possible way.
