Of course. I'm talking about the people who automatically insult him or think negatively of him just based off the fact that he's wearing a mask alone. Those people have consoomed a little too much political propaganda lol

JFC.

I have deleted the most recent post on masks since it was so off-topic and lengthy.

Any subsequent posts in this thread about masks will lead to a lengthy temp-ban. There are zillions of places to post your views about masks. NVG is not one of those places.

Thank you. It was starting to feel like the PokerGo chat room (with some of the same talking points, too).

But to the other complaints about PokerGo leaning toward the NLHE events, I have to agree. I know it made sense for ESPN to focus on that format, since the viewership was largely a casual fan base. When it comes to PokerGo's subscribers, I'd love to see some data. Seems like people who are willing to pay a monthly fee for access and watch live (plus delay) poker without editing are by and large more avid poker fans.

I dunno, maybe put the NLHE events on YouTube and run some of the others behind the PokerGo paywall or something. Again, hard to opine here because I don't truly know what the subscriber base looks like.

This final table has been completely uninteresting. Would be much better to have the gladiator day 1 with some energy at the table and people who say English words out loud while playing.

Yea they're down to 11 it wont take long to lose 2 more players. Maybe they'll start early but I'm not optimistic.

SAturday's coverage starts at the crack of 10PM CST?

I feel like such an idiot for purchasing the 3 month sub.
Why bother starting at 10PM?
This is just embarrassing . . . for them.

"Ya, let's just basically not show anything to 80% of the country since it'll start so late, no one will watch"

Just mind-boggling levels of stupidity going on at PokerGo.

I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow and staying two weeks, doubtful I'll catch much of it then

How the WSOP isnt annoyed by this must mean they literally have zero other people wanting to cover it.

I've found that my expectation of people not being brain dead levels of stupid is the source of most of my stress.

Perhaps the contrary view is you’re one of the few mega-tilted over not seeing every random prelim event completely live. As if waiting 1 day to watch your Razz event is going to kill you.

It's not just about watching it live though. It sure felt like the plan was to show the whole final table and now it might be 3 handed by the time they start filming.

Ah nice, you can possibly thank Cary Katz in person for rebooting poker programming such as High Stakes Poker and mixed game action such as Dolly’s Game

I also wish we got the whole final table but at least for this one there will be 7 left when it starts assuming it starts when their dinner break is over. There are 100 big bets in play which isn't a ton but with 90 minute levels this should last 5 or more hours I would think.

No, I'm just tilted by stupidity, no matter how small the issue at hand may be.

If you're running PokerGo and almost every day you're cancelling start times and pushing coverage into starting at the late hours of the night when 80% of the country will be asleep . . . well, just how does that happen? repeatedly? when it's not your first time year doing this?

What is the reason they say, "nope, cant do it, just start 4 hours later, okay?"

What's the excuse?

What is happening the day of over and over that they realize "ya, we cant start at 5PM, we gotta push it to 9PM"?

I love some good snark, but what you're saying avoids the central issue . . . how are professional people this bad at their jobs?

How did WSOP give them the rights to show this if they are this horrible at it?

In what job can you repeatedly delay start times many hours when the start times are arbitrary to begin with?

I would have a hard time listing any business or relationship that would survive these levels of incompetence.

I paid for the sub after seeing the scheduled start times, I was excited at the idea of coming home from work and watching the live streams for 4 or 5 hours before going to bed, and almost every day they were pushed hours later to the point I couldnt stay up and watch due to having a real job that unlike PokerGo, I cant just say, "ehhhhh f-it, I'm gonna go in 4 hours late"

You could make an easy case for consumer fraud and I'm sure some lawyer would take up the case hoping for a nice payday. Then again, I cant imagine PokerGo has enough money coming in to make it worthwhile.

"Your honor, they repeatedly failed to provide the product at the time stated and pushed it to the point 80% of the country couldn't watch it"

and yes, seeing it live is the point, the next morning, you'd have to avoid all media to not see the results on your phone/computer/etc.

You trying to make snarky comments shows your need to be a smart ass overrides your intellectual honestly to realize this PokerGo coverage is a joke and has levels of incompetence that are embarrassing. I half suspect you work for PokerGo and are trying to tamper the criticism.

I mean, really? You're defending this? Do you think the complainers don't have a very valid point?

If this were free . . . it'd be totally different, but I paid for a product and have not yet received it.

Start times are being adjusted because the fields are bigger. That’s all there is to it really. WSOP is a west coast series operating on a west coast schedule. So like other sporting events comes on later in east.

If you’re really this upset, why not email PokerGO and ask them to cancel your subscription and refund your money? I think there’s a good chance they’d be willing to do that.

But this statement is ridiculous:
Quote:

How much media would you actually have to avoid? There’s like two very niche websites that report the results of random bracelet events, and even then you usually have to deliberately dig to find the tournament you’re looking for.

This isn’t the Super Bowl or even the Red Wedding. You’re not going to be spoiled unless you really want to be.
