Because the edit version is hundreds of times more entertaining. Not watching to keep up with results. I literally enjoy watching the old WSOP, mostly pre-Nov nine era, than the robotic play of todays streamed play.

Fact is watching live poker streams, esp good poker vs the HCL type bingo feasts, is completely boring. It has the entertainment value of watching paint dry.

Nick Shulman was low stack for a long time, now on a run and chip leader 4 handed.

Should we make this thread a No Spoilers zone?

I think PokerGO live streams are on a delay so, of course, it is possible to know something about a final table before it appears on the stream. (I honestly have no idea if the YouTube streams have a delay.)

I can add No Spoilers to the title if people think that is a good idea.

People might take it to mean that they shouldn’t divulge what they see on PokerGO but that’s essentially purpose of thread.

Don’t think it’s an issue until last few tables of Main Event where more people are checking the news feed while others want to see it play out

Just my two cents

Definitely make it a no spoiler zone imo, troll posters in the past have posted results before they aired on PokerGo ruining the stream.

Once its aired on PokerGo its fair game to be talked about.

I think PokerNews reporting team is now syncing their posted updates with the PokerGO stream, at least they did that for the $25K heads up.

I am pretty sure WSOP tweeted ahead of the HU stream last night about Doug being ahead and in control, when they were even for a while and then a few minutes after that tweet Doug did take the lead for awhile.

On the Stud stream I heard a player talking to his rail that Doug had lost. That was well ahead of the PolerNews live reporting.

Nick losing the 94% to runner-runner boat was brutal, happy he was able to take it down.

Thread is a No Spoilers zone which I have added to the thread title.

Please do not post any info about hands/knockouts/etc before they appear on the PokerGO live stream (which of course is on a delay).

This warning is most germane to the Main Event when there are more eyeballs on the tourney and more people posting in this thread. But it applies to all the WSOP live streams.

Violators will be banned.

Was there ever a doubt.

Well deserved, I don't play much stud hi but I saw very little bluffing on late streets even when the bets were big in this final table. That tourney is legit whoever can fold and run good. Glad Angry dude didn't win, he was ultra disrespectful to dealers.

Am I able to share that I’ll be winning the bracelet in all future events I’ll be playing in? Or is that a spoiler worthy of a ban?

Yea, there was an obvious all in spot between him and another player (Nick, I think), and the dealer (older gentleman, probably been dealing stud for 40 years) announced the raise amount (as he should), and he started complaining saying that "There is so much I have to think about in these situations there is no need for you to say these things out loud." I was shocked, this sounds like either a player that the underground/casino cash games cater to, or someone who came up dealing and was maybe really good. At least one of the commentator said he was out of line, the other tried to justify in a vague way. The dealer sheepishly stated that he has to speak into the mic for production and Monnette had a hard time trying to argue with that.

An interesting comparison was made after that interaction to try and smooth it over I guess.

Paraphrasing
"Monnette usually never gets upset at players but is generally not too nice to dealers, Hellmuth usually never gets upset at dealers and is generally not too nice to players"

lol

So, like seriously, pokergo's coverage today starts at 11:30 PM tonight (CST)?
I bought a 3 month subscription last night to see Deeb and Polk
Not that this would have changed my mind, but today's programming seems odd
Why even bother at all if you're gonna start that late?

I thought this year they were starting all tourneys earlier to avoid super late nights for the players
Just weird.

It looks like that tournament just made the money and there is still 105 players left, probably be lucky if the final table starts at that time, even if they show the full 9 handed.
