IF Martin is cheating, and I haven’t seen anything close to proof, then he should be banned. But if he’s guilty of getting a bunch of stuffy, entitled, GTO bots and billionaires riled up then he should be celebrated.

Anyone who’s played the WSOP knows every ****ing card is dented or bent somewhat. They use the cheapest cards you can buy. A couple years ago, at the last WSOP I played, I was playing a small event and some shitregs at my table called the floor multiple times because cards were ‘marked.’ We got a new deck, and lo and behold the new deck got ‘marked.’ Eventually the floor just said ‘it’s the cards’ and we got to play, but not before the game slowed down to a crawl within the first 6 levels of some tiny tournament.

I don’t know if Martin’s cheating or not, but video of him scratching 93o while he discards doesn’t convince me.

And if he got Dan Smith to tilt, I hope he’s not cheating. He makes livestreams far more entertaining.

Right? Seems far more likely to me given what we’ve seen so far. He was clearly frustrating his opponents and as a result, they were playing worse than normal. Why wouldn’t you keep doing exactly the same thing?

Vids on Twitter clearly show lots of sketchiness, he’s a huge favorite to be marking cards. Also many pro’s have said there’s lots of deck changes when he’s at the table. Can’t be all coincidence.

My point was that for most people that is an entirely uninteresting table.

Some guy whos doing everything he can to tilt boring pros and draw attention to himself is not in any world "huge favorite to be marking cards". Its just boring pros and twittiots who dont like him with cognitive dissonance looking for things to confirm their "hes a bad person!" view.

Of course if he is in fact cheating then he is an absolute POS, but he would have to be an enormous idiot to be marking cards with the kind of heat hes bringing on himself just by acting as he is.

I’ve seen him standing up and closely staring at cards. One of the videos is him scratching the back of 93o. I haven’t seen anything close to ‘proof,’ but I agree it looks weird. There are other explanations besides cheating. I’m not saying he’s not cheating, I’m just saying I haven’t seen proof, so if you have a video that shows something please share it.

As for the deck changes, I’ve mentioned my anecdotal experience at the WSOP that had numerous deck changes during the early stages of a $1500 event. The cards are ****. So that doesn’t amount to much either.

If this guy is so notorious, and has been for so long, then I’d expect some stronger evidence, that’s all.

No idea about the card marking, but from what I’m watching on the stream he’s just constantly talking which is obv super annoying but these guys are whiny bitches for letting him get to them.

You're talking about the wrong event which is why what you're saying makes no sense.

Think this conversation is stupid, but the 2-7TD coverage was replaced by 2K nlhe. Someone said there was “no one” at the 2-7TD table but there were several accomplished players amongst the best overall players in world. Meanwhile the 2K nlhe was headlined by mark seif who was on a few WPTs back in 2004 but probably most famous for farting at the table.

I’m not sure what you guys are looking for in terms of being interesting but I don’t need Hevad Khan dancing around or Khrabel asking for a chip count every single hand. (But I did tune in to see Khrabel)

Personally I would find a quick moving 27TD played out by world class players more interesting regardless what they said or did.

I realize my post mixed two events, point should be evident though.

And when he looks under the table and studies the legs of the opponent that just made a bet to get reads on if they are bluffing. lol

I thought they were actually going to show early random coverage of the $800 leading up to and then the final table starting at 2pm PST today, since that is what time was listed all day long and even now still shows.

But on the chat they said nope, final table has not been reached check back later, there is like 50 players left.

What a load of crap! I was looking forward to coverage today of the $800 deepstack but now there’s nothing at all??

I won’t be renewing after the series. No excuse for last minute cancellations even if it’s not final table yet. Just show a non final table!

A 10-year-old could have known early this morning that there was no way it was going to be a final table at 2pm PST to air, and not had that advertised all day long.

Now it will air at 8pm PST.
