Earhart formed the world's first female aviators club, and because there were 99 charter members, she named the club "The 99's." So I dubbed the hand for her.

So the pop quiz in the glossary of my book is a trick question. "On a rainbow board of
4-4-5-6-7, what hand wins a showdown, Wayne Gretzky or Amelia Earhart?" Obvioulsy neither wins, or should I say both. They split the pot.

Reference to Amelia seems way too remote for my taste but to each his own. Good luck with the book.

That's true, Pokerologist, awful remote, but when laid up with a back injury a couple years ago I read seven bios of Earhart - and she's kind of "that one historic person I'd most like to meet." You know, like they ask you when they do a profile of you because you're such a great player. LOL.

So, anyway, to me not too remote. I've got the hots for her total package. The whole "tomboy challenges Lindberg" thing gets me hot. I apologize in advance.
