Re: Poker Table Ratings now showing PokerStars stats

I love how ppl reporting this to stars but not one report of the russian ptr, i swear you regs are piecess of shiiittt. Once something benefits you & your little bubble of players only is all you care about, this is why it's always laughable hearing you players cry that stars don't care about it's players when you guys soo selfish & only care about yourselves anyways.

Re: Poker Table Ratings now showing PokerStars stats

They also added 888 Poker to their list as well. I believe that they will add Full Tilt back soon as well.

PTR has Stars, FT and 888 hands available for sale where before I believe they didn't have that.

given the information is available on other sites and stars does nothing to stop it, I dont see why PTR shouldnt start doing it again.

this. Its sad, but you just gotta accept that poker players are probably the most selfish group of people on the planet.

No that post is dumb, i own a russian ptr account and couldnt careless if other regs have it. PTR is bad bc its available to everyone, including governments and fish, which will prob be problematic when ppl begin to flame fish again etc and will embarrass fish to the point in which some will stop playing.

If one guy robbed a bank and isn't punished for it, does that mean you should go rob a bank?

There are reasons why PTR should start up again or never have stopped but because the "other site" never stopped doing it, isn't one of them

If that's the case then post the link. It doesn't require a password to access the site, just the http link. The pw is given once you sign up. The invitation code that used to be given out to access the site was done away with almost 2 years ago now, that was the old method.

All you need now is the link and you can signup and pay, no invitation code is required.

Re: Poker Table Ratings now showing PokerStars stats

They restarted Stars maybe because this is the only way for the site to survive. I guess they have not much paying customers left and are nearly broke. So they might say, ok Stars you can sue us now, we are f...ed anyways.

Man up or quit talking bs out if your a**. You do care if other regs have it. lol internet college kids talking bs becasue they can't be called on it

But fwiw, your response isn't exactly a surprise, I was just pointing out your bs statement, as regs having access to the info makes a difference.

They can beat you to jesus seats becasue they know player x is a fish and you don't, they can extract money from a fish better at a random table because when fix x sits down and you have 2k hands on him and know he's a 65/15 whale where other regs have 2 hands on him, you can adjust much quicker and therefore extract $$ much quicker

Re: Poker Table Ratings now showing PokerStars stats

PTR is an incredibly strong deterrent to recreational players enjoying online poker. I'd likely hate this russian site as well if I knew it, but at least it touches a very small segment of the playing population and won't come up from a simple google of your screen name. I totally get that people think it's unfair that regs have this special access. I don't really disagree. But regs have so many advantages, including using a HUD, that recs have no clue about.

It doesn't change the fact that the less rating site access that exists, the better. I wish sites could somehow prevent the software from datamining altogether. Hell, I'm sure some using the current site would love to see it become useless as well but so long as other regs use something they feel forced. Again, the less people seeing ratings sites the better. Not just for juiciness of the games and recreational players, but also because players deserve to have their privacy respected by the sites and blocking datamining should be a major priority.
