Sorry sir, but you're uninformed

49o was created in SF by a group of men in red and gold spandex

Too funny...I also thought it would be some well thought out post about competition and monopolies. Threads like these are too good to pass up!

People like OP make me laugh. It's amazing how ill-informed some people are. Stop opening your mouth in public with anything involving poker. Quit pretending like you know what you're talking about and actually figure it out before you speak.

Online poker is DEAD. Stars did FT players a big favour.

herein lies some truth, because the competition between stars and tilt did provide some limit to the amount of $ the sites could rake in the past.

The sites raised the rake every few years even when there was competition. If US poker is regulated, there is most likely be competition for our dollars.

Its a shame OP was stupid enough to ruin a good discussion subject.

Well let me fill in what is actually true about PS buying FTP ruining online poker.

Monopoly, thats all. PS will have a too great advantage which they have already had since BF, but now with FTP aswell? WOW.
If this wasnt an international online company where country laws applies within competition in a certain market, this deal would have never had happened.

I dont know PS market%, but I do know its so great that they can probably push all the other sites out of buisness.
Competition is good for a market, monopoly is not.

It was actually the other way around.

Nonsense. "Regulations" are barriers to entry into the market. They RESTRICT competition, not enhance it.

Yes, because coincidences never happen in live poker.

Random does not mean equally distributed obv
