I coined the phrase "insta-muck" while switching a poker show in the TV truck. The director would miss a players action because they mucked so quickly, the direct is like "where his cards?" and I am like, "he insta-mucked" and we are off to the next player.

"You wanted that call" after I am sucked out on in a $3000 dollar pot. Maybe in the long run I did, but I sure didn't this particular time. Just shut up and collect my chips.

online: when someone who folded preflop (from EP) in a tournament says: "damn, I would of hit [insert monster hand]" after two people get it in with two huge hands (e.g. AKvsQQ or AAvsQQ).
Basically anything where people say "would of", "could of" or "should of".
What's probably the most tilting is when someone sucks out on you and then types "You should of respected my raise"

EDIT: forgot to mention "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

one more (don't know if it was mentioned already):

"Early chipleader never wins."

Obviously it's always a shortstack who says it.

When people (especially on tv) say "poker" when they actually mean hold 'em. Two aces is the best hand you can be dealt in poker? Really? Not in triple draw it isn't.
"poker" and "hold'em" are not interchangeable terms imo.

I also hate the term "pockets" but usually love to see it appear in the chatbox as it is mostly used as a justification for calling flop, turn and river bets with a hand that was obviously outflopped. "hmmmm, KQJs flop, a bet and 2 calls, I'd better call with 44. Why? Pockets!"

Nearly perfect post. Agree with both things.

Hate it when regs online say things like "well played", "lol", "lmfao", "omg what a donk", "wow u suck" or "what are you doing?" when a fish sucked out on them.. sometimes they even explain the fish why they played their hand so bad.. usually the fish leaves within the next 5 hands after, probably ashamed or just discouraged from playing

tilts me to no end, I really don't understand this

This!

I usually SNAP at the regs with a "Stop tapping on the fish tank".

Why the hell would anyone try to help ANYONE at the poker table, they either leave or get better.

For example the dealer putting the deck into the auto shuffler, and Jesse says something like "the baker pops the bread in the oven, only to find in the morning cupcakes have cursed the rabid monkey that is poker, and burnt the dreams of many a gambler". WTF? Does he think he's Bob Dylan?

Kid Poker - How has nobody realized how pedo'ish his name is. Kid Poker. WTF?
A+ post.

I hate it when people say poker is a sport.

I love poker, but it's a game just like chess and checkers are.

Those home game pros that venture into a casino and after every betting round say "Pot's right." I want to pull their toenails out with a vice grip.

This one gets pulled out in Colorado all the time now "Eye puh you awww in."

I hate it when people say they 'found' aces (or some other premium pair).

I'm also not too keen on the flop 'comes'.

...and what the frig is the point of adding an o onto the word bust? Some guy just went bust, not busto.
