Would be a sick way to relevel if this was actually true.

I imagine Scott would have trouble given his health problems anyway.

Bingo.

Ziggy has already been on some reality tv show in Finland and did several interviews where he said he was staying home from the series to party and drink beer.

But speaking of Ziggy, where has Patrick Antonius been lately? He could be another possible candidate for Survivor.

What are his heath problems? (I don't follow Scott or anything)

I don't know who it is, but I'm sure it'll be someone young. Patrik is way too quiet to be good Survivor television. Ziggy is interesting and fits the type they'd go for, though it's worth noting that they almost never cast anyone with a foreign/non-native-tongue accent (I'm probably forgetting someone, but the only guy I can think of right now is Yau-Man).

Someone like Brian Townsend would seem to make a lot of sense imo. I don't know if he's been heard from in the last two weeks, but he fits the type I'd expect them to cast.

I saw Townsend in Vegas and its clearly not his first WSOP

Phil Ivey is big to us, but you ask some guy on the street or at Wal-mart "would you like to watch Phil Ivey on TV", and they'd say "Who the hell is that??"

The average Joe would much prefer to watch even Jordan Farmar from the Lakers(who played in 2009 ME fwiw) on Survivor than Phil Ivey. There are a ton more people in the world who know who Farmar is.. esp. compared to a nameless 2p2 account guy who happens to play poker and win a little bit of money. And then you can literally name thousands of celebrities in music, movies, any pro sports, etc etc. The world isn't centered around goddamn poker, in fact nobody even gives a **** about it outside the poker scene.
LOL at this guys rant. His idea of casting for Survivor is going to Wal-Mart and asking who they should cast.

I guess he didn't know that JB was on a season.

Also 2M2MM was a ******ed show.

Your idea of a poker hero = Jean Robert Bellande, enough said.

And I never said we should put together a show from people in Wal-mart... don't blame me for your illiteracy.

And yes I knew JRB, in fact I've played with him multiple times... have you? Oops.

2M2MM was ******ed, I agree, but wasn't it a hit among 2p2 community?

You've just about missed every point I made... and worst of all... you're here sucking the nuts of a BANNED POSTER salivating at this Poker Survivor that is not even going to happen... hahaha I'm laughing so hard I'm crappin' in my pants as we speak thanks to you!!! Now come over here and clean it up boy..

2m2m was epic, I hope you both **** on your hand

Ziigmund played online today so it can't be him. It has to be Patrik, he hasn't played any of the wsop events and he has the looks to be on tv. Personality can be manufactured. It is a tv show after all.
06-23-2010 , 03:56 AM
Patrik definitely played in some early events, and he played online on the 7th. I guess it's possible it's him, but previous castaways have confirmed they get "locked down" for a few days before the game starts, so unless they started Day One of the game less than 3-4 days ago, it seems unlikely that it's Patrik.

PTR show that Patrik last played on June 7th which is when he disappeared. Do you know when taping started? I think Patrik would be a good contestant on the show from a poker standpoint. Every Survivor season has the strong good looking male character. With constant taping, leading questions in required interviews during the game, and story line manipulation by the editors, it is not difficult to make a character out of a contestant. He is certainly a better spokesman for poker than JRB. Who ever it is, I hope s/he is able to bring a brighter spotlight on poker.
