That's the problem with this community, they focus on easy target small fish like Borovetz while letting scamming whales like Chino Rheem and Maurice Hawkins and so many others continue to get away with it.

You lost all credibility when you defended Polk but acted like you lost your life savings when you never even gave Borovetz a dime. Then you tried to welch on a $10 bet in another thread and only after getting called out by numerous people did you pay. You're a joke.

I'll go after Hawkins. I'll chase any scammer, I literally don't care who it is. But people who got ripped off need to contact me first

Here's my situation. I'm not looking to be a hero or get pats on the back . I'm old and have played poker for years. I'm sooooo sick of scammers getting away with straight up theft. I use non violent methods quite successfully to get ppl to pay back I'd estimate 80% success rate. And if anyone wants to come after me cause of what I do, I'm wide open about who I am and where I live. I don't have kids or family or any of that. Like I said I'm old and now devote a large chunk of my life to chasing scammers and also dealing with animal abusers, again non violently. I don't discuss my methods on here ever, only with clients. Anyways blah blah, all I wanna do for the rest of my days is make wrongs right

You'd really go after Maurice? If you only use non-violent methods I seriously doubt you would get a dollar from him. He was outed on pokernews numerous times about not paying back his backer. He was defiant.

I don't see how someone like him who doesn't care at all about his reputation would pay anyone back with you involved. Not trying to be mean just being realistic.

I don’t know about ‘no repercussions.’ If you Google Chino’s name his scams are all over the place. So his name/reputation has been tarnished and anyone he meets is gonna know his history. I’m not sure that bothers him but it’d bother most people.

Same for Maurice. He might find it more difficult to find backers, and he’s facing a lawsuit.

Serda has apparently gone into hiding. He’s no longer playing live poker, missed the WSOP, and is having a PI hunt him down.

I know we’d all line these guys to face more consequences, but you can’t really say they haven’t paid some price for their scammy ways.

He was already (semi) retired from da pokerz during his last big (WPT Montreal) bink and played (semi) recreationally henceforth ; as far as finding him, it is really not difficult and I would fall for any of Collecto's claims, I would take them with a grain of salt until he provides anything tangible as, like I said, finding Serda is really no biggie...

True I mean you have a point but the fact that Maurice and Chino not only show up at all major tournaments and play, they get mentioned a lot usually in a positive light in blogs from WPT or the various other casinos. I guesss it is what it is at this point. Hawkins was put on major blast before the wsop by pokernews, yet he was mentioned a fair amount in different hands he won or lost in the wsop blogs on a daily basis. So you have that scathing article by Holloway and then it just as quick was forgotten throughout the whole wsop.
