They're all abysmal. Low traffic for cash, shitty software, not enough people for ZOOM.

I'm praying to god Stars won't suffer the same fate. I have a bit of optimism with Stars because they're run by competent people and it will have significantly more people playing their cash games than 888/partypoker by virtue of their brand.

I'm actually bit surprised at the lack of Zoom traffic on Party especially (much lower rake vs 888), seems there is a good portion of fun players playing and I was of the impression fun players loved Zoom b/c they could fast fold, get more quickly to better hands. I guess liquidity is just not at that 'tipping point' where the games run (yet?)

That said...I think people need to be prepared for Zoom to not be an option on Stars/GG. I know Stars launched in PA w/ Zoom and semi-quickly removed it. Not sure it's available in NJ or MI, either?

I always assumed rec players preferred ring. beating and interacting the same opponents is alot more fun. zoom is more robotic I always assumed only semi serious players played that casuals want "reads" and grudges. only pros want to play gto zoom

How have people been depositing to 888? I have tried emt and it keeps getting declined, with Gigadat telling me its the bank issue with the new email they use, and the bank telling me there is no issue. Credit cards don't generally work either. Anyone encountered this issue?

thats because they are playing on pokerstars and gg and the cashgame players who used to play on betmgm and 888 are playing the overlay tourneys. they will come

idk a month in im up 25k im not even worried about bragging about overlays and soft fields its only gonna bring in more fish longterm and if you haven't moved to play these tourneys after a month you probably never will. There is just not that many good poker players in ontario plain and simple the futures bright if you are one. Im shocked these sites have not reduced the guarantees very much over a month. I think they might have removed a couple smaller tournaments but the 109's and 50's have overlayed everyday for over a month now. id stake a couple people if interested. Cant wait till the rest join in and these ******ed sports betting sites are competing 6+ way for players

heres my results for about the first month of Ontario ring fenced poker. I heard alot of complaining in this tread and not alot of winning free money while you can. overlays were insane im not even a sng mtt player If I can have a 25k month we are going to be ok. It looks like the two sites have finally adjusted and got rid of alot of the overlays so im posting this now but there is alot of money to be made when stars and gg come over.

The two sites that are live dont give a **** about poker. They probably make so much money from sports betting they dont care if they are overlaying 10k a day in poker. They are also competing and trying to get the market share early so are willing to take a loss. I was sustaining 130% roi because I only played things with overlay including alot of satelites. +1 everyone is always all doom and gloom when ~anything changes (in general, not just poker) and it was the same here

you're not going to see six figure guaranteed MTTs but the ones that do run WILL be soft...the same goes for cash, you're not going to be able to be a 2knl regular but if you're okay playing 100nl/200nl I suspect the games will be good (I've played a bunch of 200nl on 888/Party so far and have encountered the odd 5-fish 6-max table!)

BUT I CANT PLAY .10 CENT ZOOOM WAAAAAAAHHHHH since mtts seemed to have dried up for now ill spend this cash and free time to get some cash coaching I think thats where the money will be when stars and gg move over. I also made like 5k staking people im looking for a few more there are some niches still for easy money. The only people who need to move out of ontario is people with like 100$+ hourlys even that a newb like me was getting but I doubt that will be sustainable. Right now I can teach a monkey how to grind satellites for 40$ an hour.
