Will be interesting to see how big the cash game pools will end up being for GG/PokerStars

I'm going to really miss ZOOM otherwise..

I hope they raise the minimum tables having the idiots at 2nl is joke for any western country. 25NL would be a dream minimum but I suspect at best it will be 10NL.

I've really enjoyed playing on Party Poker Ontario. No zoom running, but small cash games, but seems very soft. I'm really enjoying the small tournaments. Usually nice overlays on most of the tournaments on the guaranteed $500,1k,2.5k, 3k,5k,10k, it's been really nice playing, profitable. 4pm-10pm is the best time to play small tournaments. If you are a medium or higher stakes player, this is not great for you. But if you are a smaller buy-in tournament player, ranging from $1-109 you are burning money not playing here.

I'm looking forward to when Stars opens in Ontario, good way to make some money on overlays they will for sure have.

On a more interesting note betmgm had the most scammy and joke of a deposit bonus I have ever seen. Its advertised as 1k and 75$ tickets if you deposit 4000 so I did that. Never got any ticket and the deposit bonus can only be achieved in cash games so if you deposited 4k like me you got a 0$ deposit bonus . Im not the only one no one got these mythical free 75$ in tickets I asked all my reg friends and they only got them if they cried to support for 10 hours. I spent 20 minutes talking to support about it linking it to their own website where its advertised and they knew nothing about it.

On a side note the 1k cash game only bonus is a number of rake hands not a total rake amount. so I had a friend playing 5/10 and .10 cents just to clear the bonus lol. Probably insanely +ev if your a .10 cent grinder and want a free 1k its probably 500% rb at .10 If someone wanted to 10+ table hu's id probably be down lol

Yeah I've been playing for a month at 1k and 2.5k and am like 30% cleared the deposit bonus. It's a massive joke

Are the games as soft as live or are they largely rock infested? Thanks.

also i cashed out 5 figures from both sites at the same time for some meme competition. party was like the next day. 888 its been a week and a half and Im still waiting for 5k they do it in instalments for some reason. I almost need to do another cashout already if I binked the sunday highroller it would probably take months to cash out.

are games soft idk play and find out of course there's regs but they probably dont beat normal tough pokerstars 1/2 online games like me who has done 0 nlholdem cash game studying in his life. (im saying ive never actively tried or have beat a 1/2 nl holdem cash game before) idk im up 10 1/2 buyins off a very small sample some punters for sure games dont really run 24/7 I just throw a couple cash games in when my mtts start dying. i am from ontario so never played live in my life for obvious reasons other then mtts so cant compare but sure they are better then live just because they have beatable rake

Betmgn completely denied me a refund which is super silly because they can just give me tickets for an overlaying tournament. They also ignored the 75$ tickets like it was not part of the email I sent them so im just gonna switch to party out of spite. If it was a normal dc i wouldn't care but it was a client issue bug that they refuse to admit even happened and are blaming it on geo connection ****.

Main reason im posting is to ask if anyone has any extra rb affiliate deals with them hit me up I rake alot.

But also **** mgm what a terrible business decision to not refund me when im such a huge % of their traffic and they lose no money giving me a ticket to an overlay highroller or something they deserve to go busto in ontario. **** I have so many tickets I have to use before I can switch tho

Anybody interested in forming a group of Ontario Tournament players to discuss hands and to share experiences now that the sites are ringed? There seems to be a lot of overlays on some of the sites making the games very juicy. I am off to the WSOP for two weeks starting tomorrow but will be happy to setup and participant starting around July 1st. Send me a message on the site if interested.

Might be interested in that, will think on it.
Not super keen to share too much honestly cuz almost everyone seems clueless, but that doesn’t mean I’m winning much $ so far either.
Shouldn’t last too long from what I’ve witnessed.
Only playing on MGM at the moment.
(Damn you leafs19103631954 or whatever the **** number, remove the horseshoe from your fishy arse plz)

Can Ontario players still access the global player pool of pokerstars? It seems like there is less canadians playing than usual atm

well the first waves over but I had a group where we all coordinated to make satellites run because they had minimum players needed so the more that we got running the more overlay per satelite and more satellites I sent you a link could be useful when stars/gg goes live. no frog Poisson i promise. It was acually +ev for me to tell other regs about spots to start games because no one was starting them at first. I even staked 2 people to help me start them everyday lol.

Not to brag but I probably cost partypoker alot of extra overlay money that they finally nerfed today because every satelite we started overlayed an extra couple hundred lol

I was at Casinorama middle of the week. The place was very dead. They had one 1/2 game running and one 2/5 game running. The 2/5 game was full of a lot of nits. A lot of chopped blinds, a lot of raises taking down blinds. Not worth the drive from Toronto.

the rake is unbeatable I would never play there and its my closest place to play live poker (still like 2 and a half hour drive)

Surprised you think this, def agree the rake is absurd but shouldn’t the game still be beatable for the best 2 players at a given table?
I play at another casino with same rake and I’d be really surprised if I’m not +EV in the game even with the stupid rake %.

im sure i can make like 20$ an hour playing 2/5 with that rake . but if you can make 20$ an hour playing 2/5 you can make like 40$+ an hour online in your underwear and I dont have to drive 3 hours. its a time trap still its only good recreationally. Maybe worth someones time as a prop player or something but online is so soft in ontario no one will have a better hourly playing live poker at 1-2 or 2-5 at least with that rake wouldn't be surprised even at any rake.

and 1-2 should be pretty unbeatable at that rake even if your the best player at the table. the table would have to be a dream table to win any more the average table the best player is usually probably losing I have no experience just what ive read other people posting online. Thats where I got that 20$ hourly for a good 2/5 player. in comparison you can make 20$ an hour playing pretty low stakes online and not need a 20k bankroll to play 2-5

With party and stars closing in Ontario what are my options for 5, 10, 25 NL cash games? ACR only has 10 and 50 NL Blitz with 27 up to possibly 35% weekly rakeback. GG is out of the question if the fish buffet is the only consistent rakeback.
