Doubt it's 25/50, I can't see most of these guys having that type of money. It's effectively watching your favorite 2005 pros, and a few up and comers, play play chips.

Kristy Arnett has blogged a lot about that game, and from what she wrote it sounds like the game was indeed 25/50. I think she sold pieces of herself for the game and made out a small winner.

I think youre wrong. I even think they should have a short segment called " the baller life" or something like that. Each week, get one of the pros who have a lot money and love attention(there shouldnt be a shortage of these people) to show off what they like to do for fun, their cars, houses/baller pads. Dan Bilzerian style. Then the viewers can love them or hate them. And the next time they see the player on espn, they will know to cheer for or against them.

Didn´t we see Matusow drop $20k ++ in two consecutive hands?

That would be sick for 25/50, but just bat**** insane for anything below that.

Hmm I stand corrected. Didn't seem feasible that these guys would play an all prob table at these stakes without some extremely serious incentives, and couldn't see people taking these guys' action.

Ego and fame are the main drivers for these players to appear on a show like this. That being said, it's not like this table is super tough or anything. On each episode there will probably be a player or two with a major edge, and everyone else will just think they have an edge.

He lost close to $20k in the first hand alone. That hand shows just how profitable it would be to play in this game. The second hand was straddled to $100. He lost like $6k on that hand, so essentially only 60bbs.

How about making it $15k cash buy-in and $100k (UB) for first if Hellmuth wins?

I didn't realize they have a bunch of different videos up. I recommend skipping the first 30 seconds of this video.
