I GUARANTEE if you survey 1000 people and ask if they’d rather watch that or a “poor me” story about how some degen poker players have to cross state lines to play internet poker, 999 of them would choose my idea.
I say 999 because there’s a very small chance you would be in the group of 1000 surveyed. But everyone else would say my idea is better.
First, the part I put in bold above defines the "regular joe" pretty well. If you want to deny your contradiction, that is on you but I won't address that again.
In addition, your second paragraph especially referring to the bold about doing a documentary on that is even more boring than doing one on the overall generic biopic documentary of an established pro imo. Besides, many non - poker viewers and fans alike do not want to necessarily watch every hand of a live tournament on tv let alone all the more
series of tournaments all the way up to the main event for the player in a documentary. That is, unless they lost a prop bet.
LOL. Again, poker is NOT like a major sport like boxing.
Doing a documentary on the path of Mohammad Ali from childhood to boxing legend is interesting to boxing and non-boxing fans alike. Doing a documentary on the path of Eric Seidel from his childhood to poker legend is NOT imho. Moreover, poker as a game is very boring to watch without massive editing of a
single tourney's duration. You admitted you felt that way yourself in another thread you created in fact.
I am sorry. Everyone knows who Ali is. Everyone does
not know
nor care who Seidel is and in the survey, many will first say "
Seidel who?" Hence, whether the audience has attention deficit disorder or not and even with this subject matter of yours, I still believe I am correct if a survey was taken between this suggestion of yours vs. mine.
P.S. - You guarantee? There are only 3 things in life that are "guaranteed": death, taxes, and lies.
