Allen Kessler tweeted last night that he was on his way to London and he is now in the building. Upon seeing him up on the balcony of the upper level across the room, tournament director Jack Effel announced, "Alert, alert, alert! Complainsaw is in the house!" He then waved to Kessler and said, "Don't worry, Allen, you can still get in the PLO, the structure's good."
chainsaw ranked in the top 40 of Bluff Magazine POTY. Like 35th if i remember correctly. Don't have my magazine with me atm. min cashes will get you somewhere.
Finally, we have Allen 'Chainsaw' Kessler who, I kid you not, was discussing 'structures' with tournament director Jack Effel as I passed. "I really liked the structure you had in Iowa," he declared, giving it the Kessler seal of approval.
Carving Up the Competition

Phil Laak and Allen Kessler yesterday
Everyone's in the money now, including everyone's favorite weapon of mass destruction, Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler. Kessler had been tied with Shawn Buchanan at the top of the 2010 WSOP cash list, each man with 8 apiece coming into today. This 9th cash puts Kessler in the lead, and he's just one away from tying Nikolay Evdakov's 2008 record-setting ten cashes.
We'll go out on a limb and guess that the Chainsaw won't be entering the £10,000 Heads-Up event tomorrow, so the Main Event will likely be his final shot to tie Evdakov's record.
Chainsaw Cooled Down

We missed the action as it happened, but we noticed Allen Kessler suddenly with 2,900 chips left. He saw us peeking and told us that he ran his pocket queens into the pocket kings of Ray Chan. The money got in on a ten-high flop, and Kessler couldn't find anything useful on the turn or river. He's left with just those 2,900 chips.
Chainsaw Revs Back Up

Allen Kessler just ran pocket queens into kings to get knocked down and was forced to put half of his stack in for the big blind. Action folded to Kristian Wiermyhr on the button and he moved all in. Kessler looked at just the Ks and said, "I'm not folding," before sticking in the rest of his money. When he looked at his other card, it was the Ac and put him in dominating shape to double up against the Kd 5S for Wiermyhr.
The board ran out 8s7h2d8dTd and Kessler was able to get back to 8,000 in chips
Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda for Kessler

Earlier on, Allen Kessler folded pocket tens preflop when two other opponents were all in. Kessler would have had the best hand, and it would have held to triple him up to a very healthy stack at the time.
Just a moment ago, Kessler once again made a logical but ultimately losing fold. Wesley Pantling and Kristian Wiermyhr went to war preflop, and Kessler decided to duck out of the way with his pocket fours. Wiermyhr ended up all in with AdKs against Pantling's 2c2d , and Kessler was a bit peeved.
And he certainly didn't appreciate the flop. It came 8h9h4d , and the Chainsaw nearly fell backwards out of his chair. To make matters worse, the case 4s landed on the river, and Kessler could only announce the, "Jeez, four fours," that he would have made. Pantling's deuces held up though, and he's eliminated Wiermyhr.
very professionally run event, excellent dealers and staff considering they run very few tournaments, structure was great they had every level from 25 25 on, and 1 hour levels.
Food reasonably priced, only problem I had was that they ran the tourney a bit after the underground subway closed.
