I called got the VM and didn't leave a message. And I got the refund back. Wait a day or two and see if it's there, but if your charge was on the 28th like most people, you should see it today or tomorrow on your bank acct as a 2/1 credit.

Good luck to you!

Glad you got the $ back

Sent FT a follow-up email reminding them that THEY need to keep pressure on PMI, as this reflects negatively on Full Tilt being trusted with our money.

No refund yet on my transaction from the 28th.

I got refund on Thursday. I did not contact PMI, only my bank. The refund was a reversal done by PMI, had nothing to do with my bank dispute. Hopefully your refund will come through soon.

I got charged for $151 on 1/28, I have called that number numerous times but always get a voice mail.
Have you guys been leaving a message or are have you been able to get a actual person on the phone?

Thanks,
Dan

-I got charged $60 by this processor on 1/28.
-I haven't made any recent deposits to Full Tilt or any other online poker site.
-Beanie's comments are a display of sheer ignorance and I wish that guy would think before he spews his obviously misinformed opinions on serious matters.
-Here is a different non-2+2 thread where many others are complaining about the same thing happening to them:

-Here is a thread I started in the zoo:

I left a message with my name and phone number.

In the other thread I linked to, some are saying that PMI are having computer errors and are correcting the issues (refunding) as they become aware of affected individuals.

I hear some version of this story once or twice a week, this is not new to me.

For those that don't know basically when you make a charge through an online poker site sometimes the bank will call you and ask you if you charged XXX.00 amount of dollars with fill in the blank for this weeks processor. Sometimes people just dispute it because well it is not that descriptive, for obvious reasons. I mean if I deposited any amount of money on an online poker site with and echeck or credit card and someone called me and asked me if I know anything about the charge it might be tempting to say that I do not.

For affiliates these are charges are what we get as chargebacks. So after reading this thread and after reading that site and after hearing some version of this story a bunch of times that is the conclusion I am coming up with. If you guys want to pretend that these are additional charges just so you feel good about disputing them that is fine but once an online poker site finds out you are depositing these deposits they will close your account for fraud until you make things right.

Trust me, this is one of the biggest problems in online poker at the moment. If there is a rogue processor out there double charging people that would not surprise me one bit but I highly doubt that is what is going on based on what I read and what I know. This also isn't new, Paradise Poker and Doyle's old card room (The Highlands I believe) had this exact problem, their were sites devoted to disputing your credit card charges because online poker was "rigged".
This idiot is the biggest fckn toolbox ever...he's the type of guy that would take a picture with a cardboard tom cruise and post it here as if it were for real...I remember this numbskull back from the P5's days...what a dick.

Another banking day, another no-refund.

Guess I'll fill out my dispute paperwork when I get home.

I just called again and actually spoke to a person. She knew everything about me from my name and told me that my refund of $100 will be processed by Wednesday. Kind of creepy when she was going over the amount and date and my name and social security #.

she did mention that it was a computer error and that they were working hard to fix it. I will believe it when I see my refund. Her name was Jamie for what it is worth

My daily not-refunded bump....

FTP needed to have taken stronger action on this. They're the ones I trusted with my checking account...

No refund yet.

Left message with PMI and also have exchanged emails with Full Tilt, who are still taking the position that this is related to anything other than them.

Sigh.

"computer errors" like this one were the subject of the excellent documentary "Office Space".

Called my bank the other day (had $100 pmi chg)...they emailed me document to sign. NEXT DAY..it was credited and the bank already had found it was an unauthorized chg.

My refund posted yesterday as promised by PMI. It "seems" they are working to get this fixed.

Didn't post in my account again today. I guess I'll leave them an angry voicemail in a few minutes...

Hey Palimax, I didn't go back and read all the posts, so I'm wondering if you ever contacted your bank. I never called PMI, just my bank. PMI reversed the charges on mine last Thursday...not my bank, but yesterday I got a letter from my bank stating "The charge you are disputing was not authorized by you"...so had PMI not reversed, undoubtably?? my bank would of. Good Luck,

I contacted my bank. I have also, since left a voicemail with "Merchant Services" but have not been contacted by them.

My money from the 28th has not been returned.

I'm just doing my part to make this the #1 hit on Google for 8888758035 -- it's still at #4

Left this alone for the weekend.
Called Friday, left message. No response yet - noon Monday.
No change to the status of my bank account.
02-14-2011 , 03:04 PM
Like other have said Palimax, I went through my bank. I too got a letter saying they reversed the charges since it wasn't authorized by me, but the credit on my bank account showed it was from PMI.

I'm starting to think the banks are the one getting the credits, so, if i were you, I'd go through your bank.

Good Luck

(hope this got you to at least #3 on google )

Probably just a way for PMI to kite some money to pay bills they couldn't pay. Were the transactions end of the month??

Also I find it amazing how some of the people in the thread are just saying "it's just a ftp fee no worries".

I was trying to give them every benefit of the doubt. Since this was an ACH transaction, I can't insta-dispute it. I have to submit a plain-paper faxed dispute. I've got the paperwork, so I guess it goes in the fax machine tomorrow. [I'm at the office today already...]
