Anyone else get this charge recently on their bank statements and not know what it is?

I've read this may be related to FTP, but I don't show anything on my FTP regarding this.

yeah, it's due to the recent changes with the US government holding funds related to FTP. FTP are in the process of setting up a new system and are passing the cost on to the players with the actual dollar amount related to the total rake payed in the preceding month. nothing to worry about. They have sent out emails, so maybe check you spam box ?

2nd page is all about FTP. Seems to be related in some way but I don't think anybody has figured out what the exact charges/amounts are for.

It may not be a coincidence that FTP doesn't scream from the rooftops that PMI is their 3rd party payment processor or whatever.

That AZ bank getting fined might also be a game changer.

Stars Echeck has some issues to, may be unrelated.

I say within a year, Stars FT etc will be forced to drop all transactions with US players.

Those numbers in the subject of the OP are a phone number and they put them there exactly for this reason. So you don't dispute the charge.

Ii got charged $30 from them recently as well and i really want to know why. I didnt make any deposits to FTP since October.

Legitimate charges or not this seems bad for online poker. Too many people will be calling their banks and mentioning full tilt & online poker. Will be just another reason for bank managers to assign someone the duty of finding all the payment processors related to poker and banning them.

I have a 100 dollae charge from BMI too. Does anybody have any idea what is going on? This is rediculous. This is clearly why the government is afraid of online poker. People can just take the money whenever they want.

For anyone interested in trying, I was given this number by another company associated with PMI. 888-860-8068- Seems like the main number but when you contact customer service they send you to a Vmail

P.S- Just got a call back from PMI. They told me that it couldnt/wasnt them because the 100 dollar charge was not consistent with them. She also said that it was unlikely them because I did not have an account wirth them. I told her about the phone number attached to the statement and she said she was going to look it up, but never gave me an answer about it. She wanted me to fax over my bank statement or mail it too them (fat freaken chance I send a bank statement too them). Going to dispute it with my bank.

For all ppl screwed by PMI..I screwed for $200. Calling the number is pointless IMO. I went to bank and canceled my checking account and opened up a new one. Transfer all money from whatever account it is ASAP so it won't happen again soon untill it's figured out. Have bank put a watch on PMI account in case they try again. I just left bank and that's what u had them do. Good luck all. Hopefully as prior person says, they put money back in but if not, we need to stop the bleeding.

Call your banks, folks. Screw those people.

I've been through ID theft. Still dealing with it. Most banks are understanding. If you honestly can't recall authorizing such a charge, contest it.

Same thing happened to my checking account, PMI 8888758035.. for $300.00. called my bank to put in a stop payment, gonna see how long this takes. I emailed FTP about it no response yet and the number i called led me to a full mailbox...seems shady

This can't be unrelated to FTP if everyone who is getting hit says they have an account on FTP.

Either FTP has something to do with this, or someone hacked FTP accounts.

I have no update on my side, please keep posting if you find out something.
