Lol what an idiot, anyone have any idea of who this is?

Man Down
Level 9: 300-600, 75 ante

Play hasn't even started for Day 2, but the field is already down a player. The tournament staff announced over the microphone that one plyaer was evicted from the property last night and, as a result, his stack of 84,700 chips were removed from play.

For those keeping track of the exact number of chips in play, two Day 1A players forfeited their stacks of 16,350 and 16,050. Between the evicted player and the two forfeited stacks, that means 117,100 chips have been removed from play.

Sorted In: Borgata, Borgata Poker Open, Season X

Any update on the reason?

Between this and the incident EPIC Poker League event - looks like its getting increasingly more difficult for players to actually play out a tournament.

pretty sure theres a "one rajkumar per tournament" rule in the interest of fair play so if vivek is playing there you go

Why is it people can't just go outside or sit in their car to smoke up? I travel all the time and I never actually smoke in my room but smoke quite plenty often good times.

Is this something new or Borgata-specific? I haven't really played much live poker for 4-5 years, but in my experience smoking up in casino hotel rooms was pretty standard, and I never heard about anyone ever getting hassled about it.

I guess catching you in the act or finding actual weed out on the night table would be one thing, but as far as how a room smells afterwards, I'd 100% expect that to be ignored by housekeeping (or just the usual charge if it is a non-smoking room).

Is this a lifetime ban or what?

if you get caught in the parking lot you get banned. im assuming inside is the same, although my hallway reeked and bud could be easily smelled right when you got off the elevator.

Smoking in your room is 1000x safer than outside where there is people or in your car. If your so paranoid about housekeeping busting you than you do one of three things. Put a sign on your door to not clean your room, get rid of any blunt guts and hide your weed or leave the cleaning lady a $5 tip.

Cannabis kills cancer.

There are more cannabis users in America than Gay people.

The discrimination of cannabis users is modern state supported hate crime.

And chalk one up for another victim of abusive forfeiture.

If the guy was smoking weed in a non-smoking room he 100% deserved what happened.

People smoke weed in SMOKING rooms all the time... Nothing ever happens.

Every once in a while some dumbass books a non-smoking room and does it though. I got nothing against people who smoke pot, but if you book a non-smoking room and plan on smoking up then you're a dumbass, plain and simple.
