That explains who the 'Jordan' was that Dave copied my emails to when I tried to figure out why my account was locked when I tried to cashout...

I remember playing on Pitbull years ago and having the distinct impression that my opponent could see my hole cards. I've been playing for around 7-8 years, a good portion of that time for a living, and though I've probably logged something like 3-4M hands it's the single only time I've ever felt that way.

At the time I wasn't thinking about superusers, I just guessed their shonky flash interface had been hacked. They give off a totally amateur vibe, which I assume extends to their security department - and a web interface like theirs is more vulnerable than other sites if they're not taking the right precautions. I still think that is on balance more likely than an inside job, but I don't doubt the possibility of either since they seem shaky in just about every way imaginable.

I am not sure this was brought up alredy.....but on 02-04-2009 a new account opened on 2+2 and belongs to "randallmikevargas" he claims to have worked in Costa-rica for that Baronewski-guy and openly accuse Pitbullpoker and his owner to be a rigged site and admit he helped to scam people..... i did have some PM convo's with "randallmikevargas"but before he could give me some insight in the scam his account was banned.........The guy did sound very honnest and i wanted to know more.I am sorry iff this is brought up alredy but i dont have the time to go over all the thread.

Yes that guy is the 1 person i would most like to get in touch with. Hopefully he will hear about this thread and come back. We are working on getting in contact with people that have worked in the Costa Rica office.

Conclusion of this thread:

1. Probably not superusers.

2. Shady **** going on at this site, avoid.

It is way too early for this conclusion. Beefbot a winning HU playing for a long time at mid/high stakes thinks he was cheated HU. I myself think I was cheated HU. More players are coming foward all the time to say they faced the same pattern of play I described in the other thread, which only really makes sense if they are superusing. Pitbull deleting the hands proves they were cheating somehow and don't want it uncovered.

It is also possible there was a seperate group of colluders that were attracted to the lack of security on pitbull, and that might confuse things.

Also there is that badly written post describing a sweat shop in Costa Rica where locals were paid to superuse. That poster was banned, I assume because they thought he was full of it and trolling, but he has turned out to be somewhat credible.

Facts:

1. He was the first person to reveal the name Kevin Baronowski. The trail from pitbull poker is a dead end when you get to the shell compainies in the British Virgin Islands. I was only able to link Kevin B to pitbull after I already had his name and found some domains of his that redirect to pitbull. This means he did have some inside experience with the company.

2. PBdave confirmed this person was a former employee of pitbull.

3. His story makes sense. The alleged cheating we have faced felt like it was being done by multiple people, and they seemed to basically be totally hopeless poker players that could see cards. That would make sense if it was being done by a bunch of teenage non poker players.

Like I said we are trying to get in contact with these Costa Rica employees, so that will obviously blow things wide open if we can get some of them to confirm this story.

This is the login page for employees of the company apparently. If there are superuser employees presumably they would be on this list.

Here are the names listed, just in case the site gets taken down:

chester u took some **** in the other thread (unwarranted) but i like when people push the issue about stuff like this. It takes time and at the end of the day you are more or less doing it for free.

Even if they are totally clean (which is about 0% likelihood) every customer has the right to ask questions and get ~reasonable answers. Sad part is not everyone reads 2+2, and without being regulated, they can just keep operating this "business" till eventually no players on their site are left. So ****ed up.
07-26-2009 , 01:38 PM
Well that banned guy "randallmikevargas"his pic on 2+2 was a pic off Kevin B. in Costa-Rica so obv. he did know Kevin B.very well and it will be close to the truth that Kevin B. pissed off "randallmikevargas" big time so he comes to 2+2 basicly only place he can go and is about to expose the shady stuff thats goin on in Pittbullpoker.....they say where there smoke is fire well in this case there is just to much smoke to ignore the fire IMO

But unfortenly Randallmikevargas get banned before he could explain us in detail whats exactly goin on.

Pitbull gave me 10.00 to play with on their site a year ago.
I never deposited there.
ran it up to 100.00 for awhile. went busto like 2 months l8r.
The user interface sux so bad,
[see prof3ta's post]
I wouldn't dream of depositing on Pitbull.

I'm not surprised about the allegations.
The .50/1.00 nlhe game [yeah, one game] looked like a bunch of house pros in a tiny Cali cardroom waiting fer a live one 2 show up.

It is actually Brenes, David. I didn't bother formatting it better.

Also it is interesting to note that the person that posted the superusing sweatshop story claims to be a person that is also on this list. Unless he is lying about his identity he is probably telling the truth.

My source didn't say 'super using sweatshop' but he did say they had their own in house players.

"and they also have a team of inhouse players to start tables"

I take that to mean they used props and dismissed it.

This is stupid, ask anybody in IT who works at a datacenter, it is very easy to cheat.

It's this simply, anywhere there is significant money there will be people cheating. The only deterent is prosecution, jail time etc. in other industries. Online poker has zero punishment if you're caught cheating. It's the ultimate freeroll. What an IT guy how makes 100k a year or even a lower level NOC tech making 60k going to do? Slave away for 60k or cheat for 7 figures?

It's the ultimate freeroll because there is no prosecution, and if he was caught internally he'd just get fired and find a new job but no IT manager is going to publicly say their system compromised.

for the record, if anyone digs up anything, PLEASE take screenshots before posting about it so there can be proof it existed

Guys,

I am here to clarify a few things for you:

1. I am not related to the excellent Brenes brothers. In Costa Rica, Brenes is a relatively common last name.
2. I am a real person, hired by Pitbull Gaming over a year ago to look after the network they were building and along the line I started to taking care of other tasks to eventually look after the forums with the idea of providing an additional support venue.
3. The HH policy is what I know; I follow the policies and terms that the company has set. I am not making new policies out of thin air. We have never sent HHs like the ones requested and has always been the same policy (at least since I joined the company).
4. I am not attempting to be deceitful with you guys or anyone, I was actually trying to be a mediator and resolve the conflict.
5. As of today I am not posting anymore and you will have to deal ONLY with Customer Support if you want to keep asking for HHs or ask for payouts or whatever you can think of.

Good bye

****** dave made the same post in other pb threads. I haven't been following ths one closely but to everyone who is investigating take screen shots of what you find.

Regardless of what they say they are closely watching every thread, that's a guarantee. They know they are dirty and they are trying to cover their tracks. Book it

In the past 5 minutes they have updated all their pages to say "Dimensus Limited, Cyprus" - I grabbed a screenshot of the homepage with "Dimensus Limited, UK" about 3 minutes ago, and it's changed...
