Laak and Antonio could've done something really funny.
Prior to the event they hype up Antonio as the guy that will be going for the record. Laak is one of the original players at the table though. Antonio plays 50 hours or whatever and then quits, but because Laak is still playing the attention naturally shifts to him Laak then surprises everyone with his epic record and wins a bunch of bizarre side bets.
Wow, he's really serious about this. Tbh I thought this was gonna be some half-assed attempt to gain attention. He's definitely a lot more coherent at 81 than I would expect. I've been awake for ~80 hours straight and I was hallucinating by 72.
