if you can hold going to the bathroom.

I'd be banking breaks whenever I could.

He said he would be going to the bathroom every 4 hours if he needed it. He's not allowed to nap.(That's what I heard, can somebody confirm?)

Did seat 1 get ruthlessly stacked or is that a new guy? The guy who was there had a large stack of bills and chips...now its just a scattered pile of chips.

Re: Phil Laak to attempt World Record Session

Does anybody have a good line for what Phil's result will be at the end of the session? Maybe like -3k?

Re: Phil Laak to attempt World Record Session

If he's allowed 5 minute breaks every hour but not allowed to nap, then this really is just 'how long can you stay awake' with very little to do with poker.

This would be a good thing for somebody who practiced "polyphasic sleeping"

It's not even that, because he can use his banked time to sleep if he wants to.

when i was a kid, the owner of that record was a military prisoner who was kept up for like a week. something connected to the military, anyway. there weren't many details in the book on the why.
he was on his feet the whole time.

voluntary guinness endurance records generally allow breaks.

it's interesting, if nothing else.

The ESPN article (lol) said he got 5 min breaks every hour, I mean I guess you could nap for 5 min, but its not doing much for ya.

Re: Phil Laak to attempt World Record Session

TY for clarifying. You could go for weeks given 5min/hr to nap.

Give you a 1000 to 1 odds you could not go for weeks with just a 5 min nap 8 times a day
