On the pokercast he said that at no point it was mentioned by the guinness-people that he can't sleep during his breaks but also said that it was probably to commonsense to mention.

How so?

It's not really the same thing but I stayed awake for a couple of days during my dissertation where I power napped for 30 mins and when I awoke, each time I would feel fresh (well, fresh enough).
