""It appears the rumor mill might be correct, that Ivey “may be” broke. Do I feel bad? Hell no!! I do feel bad for his ex-wife, but she should have known she was possibly marrying a gambling degenerate. Rumor has it that Ivey owes at least one casino, 10 million dollars.. Perhaps Ivey should have thought twice before raising that lawsuit against FTP, in which sources tell me that action chased away an investor who allegedly had an oral deal in place with FTP.
I say what goes around comes around. I normally do not like to write about this, but I really do not like or respect what Phil Ivey represents. Everyone is entitled to their opinion however, so think what you will!! peace!!""
I couldn't agree with you anymore as I think know matter how you look at this story/case, Phil Ivey & Team do not respect anyone or anything. I'm sure when his ex wife married this gambling degenerate for "love" she had no idea that their lives would take such a spin. According to that article, she was the Rutgers grad with a future and Phil ivey was some no name wanna be gambler in and out of casino's, etc..
If she was my sister back then, I would have told her to wake up and leave his broke as (at that time) because I surely don't know of any OLD rich gamblers. Same goes for Old Rich Drug dealers, I know NONE and to me, that's what Phil represents to me. He respects know one due to the money he ran into apparently "after" he was married according that article and now he wants to screw her and Full Tilt and anyone else that get's in the way of his "gambling".
I'm sure there are a LOT of other details that we aren't privy to in this story but from the way it reads, i'd be shocked if he gave her anything outside of that alimony payment, but, then again, that is my assumption. I only come to that assumption due to the frivolous lawsuit he filed against full tilt in which he failed to mention the 4 million he "owed" them already. I'm sure there is more to this story and I for one, look forward to seeing it unfold!
I salute his ex wife for taking on the 2nd "Money Team". Sorry Mayweather for taking your teams name haha! I did say "2nd"
