We should do it on his behalf.

Or agree that we're going to boycott the casino for one year like he did the WSOP.

Well, "the investigation in ongoing" often means that you get to wait a long time. I wish it would be faster but we see this in all walks of life. Moreover, if in the end of the investigation there is evidence of cheating (IF...) than long time of waiting would seem tolerable, wouldn't it?

I'll be in London in February, so I promise to NOT patronize that establishment. That'll show 'em.

Can't really see how he can lose this. Will he win more than the amount owed to him for them being douches?
05-07-2013 , 10:16 AM
Don't see how he doesn't win this case...

If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!

Cue FTP whinging.

Please don't put hyper links in the thread title, they don't work.
05-07-2013 , 10:43 AM
Assuming Ivey wins, who in their right mind would ever go to that casino? If they are found in court to have just not paid their losses to a player why would anyone think they couldn't do that to them?

And +1 to it looking like he has a dead bang winner here.

I didn't mean to! I copied and pasted the normal title from pokernews and that crap appeared on the end automatically :@

No worries.

If something happens like that in the future, just use the little red triangle to report your post and ask for a mod to edit the title for you.

1. crock

Bull****, nonsense, something that is a lie. However, crock is not usually used as an interjection like the above words may be.

Does this casino have the fundage to pay the man?
05-07-2013 , 12:18 PM
My guess is that he had an advantage in the game, the casino figured out his trick, and now doesn't want to pay. Doesn't seem like he is playing a loss rebate given the figures involved. Most likely he had some additional information before making his bet.

More likely they just don't want to pay the large amount because they like money
