You know what I find amusing... The only time I've heard a person refer to Ivey as "The Tiger Woods of Poker" is when someone is making this claim who knows nothing about poker. It's like...the poker community calls him "The Tiger Woods of Poker".. 2p2 being a large part of the poker community; does anyone actually ever recall a poker player calling him this ******ed nickname?? Does any1 actually think this isnt the douchiest nickname ever?

I'm certain they called him that during the early WPT episodes.

IIRC, later they said he didn't care for it and stopped.

1st Daniel, now Phil I.

wow I had no idea about this until now.

Wonder why they never had kids, how long were they together?

An interview with Ivey's former wife could be interesting, if she was at all outspoken or mad about her separation from Phil.

I'm not talking about sordid details about Phil getting around, because this isn't like the Woods story, at least in the public eye.

But more about, the swongs and Phil's attitude.

I'm not here to judge the relationship, but despite the Stone Cold Nuts being the man everybody wants to be, it can easily be said that, for the most part, Ivey portrays a dour attitude for the last several years when on camera.

He does show a sarcastic sense of humor once in awhile that many people would say, "y'know, he does have a genuine side," but then again, there have been several shows where he has come off as standoff-ish, sarcastic and boring.

This isn't to say, however, that deep down, Ivey is truly about the gambling, which for better or worse - even with a possible marriage pun intended - is to be recognized as part of the problem in many relationships.

I would just be interested in hearing what she has to say about the man that so many people are fans of. Certainly, she has to know him better than most people in his life, except prolly Barry... lol.

I truly wonder how this realtionship lastet so long. I like to think Ivey was almost never home. Women need their man around way to much to agree with them beeing around the world gambling every day for a too long period of time....Tsss...girls.

I'm watching Durrrr Million $ Challenge on tv and Durrr is telling his heads up opponent, Sammy ....greek guy..can't recall his surmane - anyhow..Durrr is saying he has a prop bet with Ivey for 500k that he can't eat meat for a year.
