I’ve seen at least a couple videos of him playing and someone at his table says that not only is he world class at tournaments, but that he has also crushed the big cash games for over two decades.

Has anyone here read PH's book? Is it worth getting? I'm considering it.

Which one?
Play poker like the pro's? (that was my bible for a long time)
The biography? People should read how he struggled in life, before coming here and making him look like a lazy idiot.
Positivity? Everyone should read it, the world would be a better place for sure if everyone could be this positive.

And no matter how many blowups he had, he appologizes and doesn't make it personal. I see players with a much worse attitude lately.
So Phil's passion for poker is huge, but he still is a very nice human being.

People continuing to doubt his live tournament ability should at least make some claims, like "he'll never win another bracelet" or whatever. That way it's at least funny in the future.

PH is amazing at live tournament poker and in any other form of poker he probably overestimates his own ability.

I was curious to see how he was doing if you look at number of bracelets in the past 10 years. I think this list is correct:
6 or more: No one
5 bracelets: Ivey, Lisandro, Mercier
4 bracelets: Hellmuth, Alaei, Cada, Danzer, Deeb, Hastings, M Mizrachi, Nitsche, Rast
