I'll have to find somewhere else to post my final 4 videos. I'm extremely embarrassed about all of this. I'm sorry guys.
Phil, you continue to be an example of pure class and professionalism.

Please let us know where you will be posting the last four videos, and where you will continue to produce videos, if you choose to do so at all.

Also, I'm not a BFP member, but a live commentary of HUPLO you vs. isildur would be something I would like to see. How to deal with a loose, aggressive, smart opponent.

Yea Phil, A video of you playing Isildur recently would be awesome.

I know you don't want to give away too many of your reads/thoughts about him and his play, but you always seem to handle him so calmly and easily...it would be great to see from your perspective

GL wherever you end up going

Kinda obvious to me with the PW change stuff that Phil had a falling out with a site partner who also happens to control the site DB, lol

Well, it seems as if Bluefire is ending today or in the near future. Seems as appropriate a time as any to share a story from the beginning of the site. Phil Galfond was the lead instructor, but not involved in any of the details I'm about to share. Right after launch, there was a buzz about BFP. The site seemed like a big success and myself and the other Bluefire pros felt we were underpaid. We decided to have a skype group and discuss if we wanted to go to managment and re-negotiate our contracts. Niman, in particular, was very convincing when he told us our value and how underpaid we were. He suggested we re-negotiate and all take the same % as one another, a significant increase for all involved. Niman instructed us that we don't talk to the owner directly, rather, we'd talk to him as a group.

After sending out an e-mail to management about our raise, no one talked to the owner alone. That is, everyone but Niman Kenkre. He was playing both sides, orchestrating our union and talking to the owner behind our backs. At one point, he even asked, "What's Martin getting? We don't need him. Give me my original contract and whatever you're giving Martin and I'll sign right now". Giggy is really cool, so I'm glad this didn't happen. He then let the owner know that he could break up the group, if he give in to his demands. They came to an agreement. Niman then came to the group, letting us know that it was unlikely that we were getting a raise and we should all back off. The union disbanded.

Needless to say, I felt very betrayed.

The only thing I don't understand is why you haven't explained us the reason why you leave BFP? Care to explain?

Yea this pretty much seals the deal for BFP. It will collapse shortly and end as a failure which is unfortunate, but considering this story and the departure of Phil there is no stopping it.

My email to cancel my subscription has been sent. GL to you.

To people who wonder why BFP deleted Phil's blog, i think it's a move by them to keep those costumers who are there for Phil's vids, but don't visit 2+2 or Phil's twiter. Don't think there are many of those, but if you can keep atleast 100 people to re-new their subscription for next month it's atleast some money until people realize Phil is gone. Maybe in next week's they will try to introduce some good high stakes cash games player to try to keep subscribers.

Also i think Phil left because BFP has become just another training site. When BFP just started it was exceptional and had superb cash games crew (Phil, Giggy, Niman), now it's bunch of SNG's/MTT's and some cash.

Wow. Strange.

I can't access my BFP account. It said my password was wrong so I successfully reset it and it's still saying that it's wrong.

I read the news this morning, whilst on vampire schedule reading my twitter feed. Feel pretty bummed out because of it, as PG was practically the sole and only reason why I joined BFP.

Really dissapointed to see him leave, and will most likely discontinue my subscription to what has been nothing short of a revolution in my poker game.

Was thinking about signing up at PLOquickpro and this news will prob be the push towards me filing my CC details

Bye Phil ... thanks for everything!

I wish you the best of luck in your pursuits Phil. It is obviously sad to see you go, but I am sure you had your reasons which we all respect. Thank you for the amazing content you put out over the years. It sure helped my game tremendously. And of course, thanks again for a spot on this roster. Whether you are here or not making videos, it is still a tremendous honor to be a coach for the Bluefire team.

Good luck in the future. Your content will be greatly missed.

I used to chat with the owner on IM and met him at the wsop a few years ago. It isn't Phil. Won't say who it is cause it's not my place. However, he is a long time 2p2er, a stand up guy, and will probably chime in about this. Don't know for sure but I'd guess Phil had a % of BFP.
