Many poker players spend several months of the year traveling, either business (poker) or leisure. Is that really so surprising?

God, I love this drama. So much more to be revealed. Who is good, who is bad. This is better than Lost. Popcorn.jpg

Hah I thought the exact same thing though. Any time someone is accused of something bad or in the limelight they can never get to internet. This is despite there being internet available basically wherever you are in the world; hotels, airports, coffee shops, 3G connections on your phone, tablet, etc. They even have internet availability on some plane flights now. It's rare to be in a situation where you can't have fairly easy access to the internet these days.

It's not impossible though, especially when travelling in another country, but the frequency with which particular people being accused of scumbaggery is suspiciously high, too much so for it to simply be one giant coincidence. More likely it was true for couple of them but the others saw it as a great and convenient excuse to abstain from posting for a while so they could see how things panned out and if/when they ever wanted to post they could stumbled upon an internet cafe or a friends laptop (they never seem to have laptops either).

It'd be funny if every time a high stakes pro said this, Guy Laliberté sat at a table.

It's public, it's Billy Murphy I think? He was listed as the owner in some stuff that PKR put out when they did some partnership with BFP. Not sure his name on 2p2. I am replying to a post from a few hours ago, so maybe this has been covered.

phil quits bfp
phil posts twitter that his pw was changed on bfp
2p2ers realize something bigger is going down and feel they have a right to know
SoCal posts something about Samo ****ing around to get more money
Giggy dismisses those allegations after talking to Samo on the phone
Samo then comes in and does the same

I was just going to post that pretty much 100% of the time when someone is caught doing something shady they post "I'm travelling and can't get online to post".

The post by samoleus kinda reminds me of another great SoCalQuest thread:
Drunk, humped my boss at bar, my play now?

Billy Murphy - "I'm currently the CEO of BlueFirePoker"

http://www.incomediary.com/billy-mur...-playing-poker

Google search for "snowbank bluefirepoker" gets a blog entry from Nat Arem confirming Snowbank runs BFP (http://www.natarem.com/2010/07/09/x-obamaed/) so that seems like it's a lock. My main memory of snowbank is that he was the one who started the crazy thread about how he was going to teach a bunch of homeless people to play poker, which as I recall got pretty funny fast.

http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...0&fpart=1&vc=1

Galfond getting 30% seems very bad if true, although depends if he made a huge salary from making videos too or whatever. But as this thread makes clear, he was like 95% of the draw of BFP.
