That's good news. Good software and a commitment to treating customers fairly will go a long way.

I hope that they will use the state-of-the-art solution in order to combat botting, payment fraud, collusion and so on!

=> ban every country that is located a) in Europe and b) east of Germany/Austria

#Runitoncefirstworldpoker
#RunitoncehighGDPpoker
#Runitoncemakingpokergreatagain

Besides, start available stakes at 0.10/0.25 in order to improve game quality further.
Introducing microstakes was a big mistake from the site operator´s perspective.
Shouldn´t be a problem at all in high GDP countries...

aint b) part of a) ?

would be a big risk to take so i doubt we'll see anything like this. Maybe 10nl as a minimum or something, but I think they will let as many countries play as they can.

Why dfck ban every country in Europe? OOO, and yes, this --> aint b) part of a) ?...

sure it is. His geography sucks.

Where from u taking this ideas?? Please explain why ban Euro countries?

And BTW, where are u from?

I was talking about countries that fit both a) and b)

You want countries like UK, Germany, Austria and other high GDP western european countries included in the playerpool, but not the countries, which are responsible for the overwhelming majority of botting, collusion and payment fraud.

I don´t have reliable data on this, but I´d estimate that simply by banning the Baltic States, Russia and Belarus you would get rid of at least +2/3 of botting and probably +90 % of payment fraud.

This analogy is pretty bad.

Those are basically equivalents. Whenever a site tells me they don't ship to Canada, I write them an email about how they are basically treating me like property and making me do forced labour for the rest of my life. I don't get a lot of responses back though.

I kind of agree with this, players from Russia, Ukraine, those poorer countries in EU, they add nothing to the room. Most are supernit, slighty winning nits that won't add $$$$ to the room. In fact hey can be detrimental to your room's success! You also have to deal with all the colluders and botters these countries bring into the poker eco, just don't get a license for those countries.

Such hype and build up... For what? Nothing...?
06-19-2017 , 04:53 PM
phil is a brilliant and smart guy i dont think that he want to put up a product that is unfinished or it isnt how he want it to be
06-19-2017 , 08:06 PM
This not built yet huh
06-20-2017 , 03:12 AM
It takes a long time to build an online poker site, particularly if you haven't done it before.

maybe there wouldn't so much hype and high expectations, if ppl wouldn't bump this thread out of boredom ...

It's almost like building a software oriented platform that has to compete against established businesses in a declining industry is no easy task.

If I see no updates, then I assume nothing is getting done. It's not crazy to think this way

I vaguely remember him saying something like he doesn't want to post a bunch of updates/promises/predictions and then fail to deliver and that he'd rather wait until the product is finished to go out with the details.

At this point I'd put the odds at what happens first at:

-decided to scrap the project and no poker room opens -300

-site actually opens as anticipated, a legit site, not a gmmicky site +200

Too many delays, too little new information. I just get the feeling eventually we are going to get an announcement that "due to the poor online poker climate, yada yada. they have opening of the site has been delayed indefinetely if not just scraped.

No inside info, just a feeling.
