Do you think he's qualified? He has been a great online poker player, but I'm not sure if he or anyone can bring back online poker in this day and age. Online poker had it's run and I think it's just dying out.

Hey galfond, if you can't put your site out because of the delay bug yet, why don't you pull off a one week beta test to see if servers even keep running that long without shutting down?

Wouldn't be bad to test this beforehand
And also would be nice for the fans.

You need to uninstall any previously installed RIO client before installing the new client.

If this is your first time and still experiencing issue, I guess you should join their private Discord (link probably in your email) and let them know.

You don't have to install Discord, it is accessible via browser. I'm sure your bright and positive attitude will be welcomed.

well you kind of got me there. My attitude this morning really hasn't been the greatest. Post wasn't meant to sound snarky, I just don't use discord normally.

Is there any good reason recreational players will play on this site when it launches? I have a hard time seeing it being successful with the market already saturated.

Yes, software and the experience is great. Everyone during beta test today kept commenting how fun it is to play on this software. It is for sure unique in what it offers.

it's the fairy tale of the golden times, when we had plenty of fish and and you could climb through the ranks simply by playing a fundamental preflop strategy. in those times PG and others gained stardom and 2+2 was the place to be.

then BF happened, americans stopped donating their hard earned dollars, grinders formed stables and whatnot to squeeze out every cent possible. we saw the boom happening in countries, where grinding NL5 was more lucrative, than being a doctor and the rise of advanced custom made software, so the precious fish can't slip trough. and let's not forget the evil corporate empires strangling those poor grinders with a dream.

and even with alternatives around for years, it's this little site, that will restore balance. a place were the rake will be low, despite how many grinders sit at one table. a place were deposits just grow out of thin air and elderly men will be lured in, leaving their credit cards at the table. lured in not by quirky characters, that can slice fruits with playing cards, but simply by the good will of those true grinders, who never stopped to hope ....

I don't like it but the recs might. It's going to be mayhem. Regs will adjust better and earn way more rakeback.

Interesting, i agree that long-term regs will have more then 51% rakeback and fishes less then 51% rakeback.

I guess net rake still will be lower then stars/pp. PP added 60% rakeback diamond level for high volume players today so who knows if they beat it, need do some math on that.
