On the other hand these are the only people Phil will have a clear edge on that could accept. If I were Phil I'd propose a counter offer try to meet in the middle
and try to get a guarantee on Bill playing X% of hands
and get the stop loss up

Is it weird that when reading this first I thought the opposite and that Phil was the one in danger here. At these stakes he's susceptible to the full force of RTA/ PLO bots have to offer given that its HU for easily the highest stakes being played online at the moment (assuming this is an open invitation that is taking all oncomers- obviously Perkins is not one of them lol). Would need to confirm webcam on both sides imo.

On this particular case, wouldn´t make a lot of sense for him to try to scam ppl or whatever. Galfond seems like one of the few nice guys in poker. With that said, the mindset of trusting anyone 100%, esp when we don´t know him irl (my case at least) and have no way of independently tracking his activities, just bc of reputation, is very dangerous. Just being a little bit cautious at all times and with all ppl regardless of anything else, when there is money anr/or personal safety involved, can´t go wrong imho.

I can think of 40 people or so off the top of my head that would have quite a big edge.... That wasn't always true, huge disparity from what it used to be. Losing to that many ppl, many "no names" in poker fame is the definition of getting "destroyed" vs takers.

Does #3 in Bill's proposal mean Phil can watch the stream after they finish playing? Either way, sounds hard to enforce other than relying on honour and good faith.
