You would be surprised how many rec. players watch these old HSP eposidoes even in live casinos (ones that have these big TV in their cardrooms) and it gives them a lot of interest/fun to play the game.
Attracts tons of recreational players better than anything out there (i mean "big money" in big pots playing card game, who wouldnt like that, even if its first time you see the game).
Defenitely a huge +EV investment if they`re looking at their business from longterm perspective for stars/ftp imo
oh yea and it MUST have guys like tonyG, hellmuth and businessmen, not only to attract highstakes players for these shows longterm (instead where you have ivey-durrr-ike-galfond type of lineup), but also creates GREAT tv time and much more fun dynamics

tonyg and helmuth make the best tv imo

dwan and full flush on the same table could be good as well

the other guys like kanu etc just gona sit in silence & if the commentators are boring it just makes it that much worse....

jesse may + haxton/fullflush/galfond have been the best commentators imo for cash games... jesse may gets some flack on here but hes the best commentator interms of making hands interesting even when their not & making light convo as well

I want to see Jamie Gold get manhandled at the table on HSP but he manhandled his bankroll into the ground already so there's just no way it would ever happen again.

They should also have a wsop bracelet winners table. Anyone with a bracelet invitational cash game event. I would love to see how they do playing cash, lol
