Not sure if this theory was ever discussed much but it makes the most sense to me after rewatching the hand.

tl;dr
- Persson is sitting right next to Garrett and may well be able to see Garrett's hand when he peels his cards
- Persson displays a lot of suspicious behavior during and after the hand, including potential signalling with his lips and face
- When Robbi asks Garrett whether he wants her to call, Persson says "I vote no", and she calls basically straightaway (!)
- Persson looks nervous after the hand when Garrett gets suspicious and keeps trying to back up Robbi as she tries to explain her play.
- Persson looks like he tries to glimpse Garrett's hand in the very next hand and covers it by taking a drink


Timestamps
2:15 - Persson slowly peels his cards as though he is waiting for Garrett to peel his cards, and pinches his lips to his left. His eyes are obscured by his hat but he could be looking toward Garrett's hand.



2:41 - Persson moves his lips as though he is saying something silently.

3:32 - Persson scrunches his mouth to his left and shakes his head



3:41 - Persson does the same motion but more subtly



3:46 - Robbi scratches her face whilst announcing it verbally. Potential signalling to Perrson.

3:57 - Robbi looks toward Persson and makes a very small pinch of the lips on her right of her face.

4:52 - Robbi puts out a time chip, and looks in Persson's direction for a good 1s.



5:40 - Robbi looks in Persson's direction for another good 5s.



5:43 - In response to Robbi asking Garrett if he wants her to call, Persson says "I vote no". Robbi blinks as if in acknowlegement, and Robbi calls soon after.

9:24-10:36 - Persson has his hands in the steeple position, and looks nervous, swallowing. He rubs his fingers against each other and against his cheek. Why would he be nervous?

9:40 - As Robbie tries to justify her play, Persson interjects with "yeah, explain".

11:02 - Persson says that "Robbi did that for Andy", but when Andy distances himself from the hand, Persson quickly loses his smile.

12:59 - The next hand, as Garrett goes to peel his cards, Persson quickly looks left for his drink, and drinks whilst looking towards Garrett's hand...



Motivation
Probably Persson, Robbie, and likely also Rip wanting to humiliate Garrett because they can't beat him straight up as recs.

I think Persson posts on these forums under the username ScotchOnDaRocks. Maybe he can respond here to the allegations in a bit.

Don't have much to say about the "Persson Conspiracy", but looking at that last picture showing Garrett lifting up his cards, I wonder why someone with his experience still hasn't learned how to hold his cards properly and securely while peeking at them? Perhaps he has osteoarthritis or some other degenerative condition of his fingers. We should all be more concerned about his health than whether or not he was cheated out of a low six-figure pot.

I will leak a some information that hasn’t ever been discussed in this thread.

Eric messeged Garrett after and said that Robbi had 100% cheated and he was going to come out with it publicly. This claim was made by Garrett.

The other thing I found weird that is somewhat in line with this stream is Eric says,” Robbie you have a new tool in your tool box and it only works vs Garrett.

But why would Eric of his stature want to cheat Garrett, surely it wouldn’t be of a financial gain, surely there’s easier ways Ie Bryan, so this theory doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me tbh.

This theory makes more sense to me if Bryan was feeding someone like Rip the hole card information. Eric loses way too much money on stream to be considered in the cheating ring in this situation.


Or maybe the tool in his toolbox only works vs Garrett because… he can see his hole cards.


Mmmmm not likely but the post is interesting and a lot of it has been posted/reposted in the other thread.

beyond Eric possibly being involved in the J4 hand lets not forget the floorman constantly coming to the door and signaling like a 3rd base coach. Absolutely no reason why he should show up multiple times per a stream giving hand signals.

yes op you finally solved it. The whole theory of robbi throwing time chip and vibrating away to 100% accuracy moves is BS, even though that's what happens every time she uses time chip in every past HCL episodes including this hand. But hey your theory makes sense.
