When there is a will, there is a way, but it should be good for the reg players also. Just serving the rec players as the optimized solution forgets that they could serve the reg players also.

Regs will go anywhere that there are a lot of rec players, so in theory serving the rec players serves the regs.

Didn't play tournaments, didn't get such e-mail. I'm guessing it was sent to only those affected by the problem.

However though, massive disconnects today. Played only cash games, got disconnected, couldn't log in, but alas the software doesn't sit me out, hence someone managed to steal blinds from me on all tables. Nice.

mpn has converter(s), hand2note tracker has been supporting mpn for years (old client) with dynamic data (realtime handhistory same i showed for party). also, mpn protocol (old client) has playerIds (even on anon tables if i remember right), you can change your nickname every day, it doesnt change your id.
I've no idea about their Prima client, its still on 'debug' stage, but players officially using huds on mpn (old).

The question becomes, why would they be touching the code that presumably has been in place for a long time and displays the correct player counts? Seems pretty suspicious to me.

I was about to review this months STT at PP, I reinstalled PT4 and yeah...they removed hand histories. Thankfully I got a spreadsheet with all games played and results..but feeling I have been getting really unlucky I kinda wanted to see some graphs and get some perspective. Guess its not possible anymore then? I feel cheated...I signed up for PP because they had a hand history

This site cannot last very long I assume? how we even know their RNG will be fair from now on?

I'm a little concerned about the scanning they do on the computer for "hud" alike programes. I'm sure the intention is good. However I've been banned from pubG on steam, because my crypto mining client got mistaken for beeing a cheating program. Didnt have much luck lifting that ban to say the least..I guess its a somewhat simular technology? or could be. No such technology is perfect, and the price I can imagine will be lots wrongly suspended accounts.
Not talking about only PP here, I mean in general for those sites that do scan for "cheating" programs.

That`s a little hard to ensure in todays OS

lots of programs autostarts..silently runs in background etc. You sure make it sound easy like you phrase it. Anyone who knows a little about computers knows this..but perhaps I don`t see the sarcasm here

My point was that steam games have given me the VAC ban wrongly...so I can assume the same tech might be integrated within a pokerclient software..meaning that it (pokerclient) too can wrongly detect background programs the way steam games do that it does not like. Like maybe a alt-coin miner for instance.

How can I prove my case then? no hand histories, no nothing...oh well I guess the trick is to not keep more than 50$ in your account at any given time.

Kind of a shame but think Im gunna play on Stars mostly now until we see how this thing plays out. The player pool is bigger, possibly weaker, & I can track my results.

There just seems way less traffic at Party nowadays. The tournament schedule & guarantees are a fraction of Stars, & their cash games arguably play tougher, at least at my stakes. Cash may actually get easier HUDless but its hard to say in the short term.

There are some things I prefer about Party - the rakeback structure, satellite structure, never had any trouble withdrawing,etc, but the amount of technical issues they have gives me no confidence that this change will benefit us

He means the fight with competitors, i.e Stars, for traffic.
