There's no incentive for bots to run on the smaller sites like RIO, Unibet,Sky etc that don't allow huds as there are more games running on Party than the others put together. If the incentive is big enough then for certain you will get people trying to run bots and for people to circumnavigate the anti HUD measures.
Party say they don't allow bots or HUDs for cash games but there are bots and people running HUDs, and the only reason we know there are bots is because of the people using the illegal HUDs.
In an ideal world we need no HUDs and sites that have sufficient security to get rid of bots within a few hundred hands of them playing.
There prob always be HUDs for online poker now. As long as there is animated action and information displayed on a poker site, someone will be able to create a HUD. We're past the point of no return. Unless someone comes up with truly revolutionary software this will always be the case. It's better to level the playing field for everyone than to give the biggest edges to the savviest, scummiest, reward seeking few.
