Rootbone Radio, which consists of OG Ship It Holla Balla Peter Jetten and his friends Gabe "LuckyGabe" Patorski and Brian "Snagglechud" Powell, interviewed Scott Seiver recently.

Talk of the PartyPoker Premier League, scheming, Jungleman stories, the Year of Science and other good stuff during the episode.

Watch here.

Thanks for posting this. I have never heard one of these radio shows, but might go back and watch some. Can anyone suggest funny ones like this? I am not really looking for poker content.

daniel cates was temporarily possessed by a demon thanks to scott seiver

seems like jungle should drop the pua stuff and negreanu/esfandiari should heavily target him in the next class of cult recruits. fighting people in poker is so unnecessary when the game itself provides its own stage to battle on

Gabe your lack of knowledge all things Ashley Judd (and subsequent Winona Ryder hiccup) was a bit disappointing. Step your game up.

Google game confirmed awesome though. Did y'all create it? Is there a list of good opening phrases somewhere?

Brian came up with the google game over a year ago and finally busted it out on this episode. I'm sure he has more good 'opening phrases' in the bank.

Holy smokes. JM is a total psychopath.

Threatened to kill Seiver in front of Helmuth. Tried to fight Seiver at the break. Apparently went to bars and started fighting people. Ice cream stories are hilarious... Man o man, that's a disaster waiting to happen.

Skip to around 15:30 to hear the JM fiasco. There's some serious psychological issues in play there. JM comes across as a 14 year old angry man-boy. Creepy.

This show, like all the Rootbone episodes I've seen, was great. If Rootbone Radio isn't the best poker video podcast then tell me what is. Please make more.

It was good to hear Scott Seiver's perspective on the Premier League in London. There were many parts of the story I was unaware of or had not heard. But I was watching much of what happened on the table from the commentary box.

Until the incident between Scott and Jungleman happened, I was generally unaware that Jungleman had been often folding out of turn. Which is not to say that it was not happening. He was in the one seat and getting a massage, and if he was out of a hand that camera angle might never be picked up at all. It may have also been happening in a previous heat.

Folding out of turn is in my opinion a critical game fairness issue that should be dealt with immediately with penalties. When it was addressed, the issue was solved by all the players at the table agreeing that if it happened again Jungleman would receive a one hand penalty and if it happened again a one round penalty. Immediately following that, Jungleman folded out of turn and received a one hand penalty. The next hand back from his one hand penalty he did it again and received a one round penalty. After that he never did it again.

I have had the opportunity to spend a considerable amount of time with Jungleman in the last year. I have seen him and spent time with him in Vienna and Prague and Paris and Morocco and Copenhagen and London and Venice. He is one of the most unique people I have ever come across. I realize he is not everybody's cup of tea, but I think he is genuine and honest and possessing of a good heart. Any suggestion to the contrary is in my opinion without merit.

The way Jungleman thinks about poker is amazing to behold. The way he thinks and or how little he thinks about other things have no place in the scope of one's ordinary imagination. His range for saying things is quite wide. I literally would have absolutely no idea what might come out of his mouth next. I find him hugely entertaining to be around.
