It's possible Party are about to start segregating the SNGs (or already have)! In the last update they changed the way you join SNGs and also the way they are listed in the client lobby:

I know there are a few here who write for poker news sites and it may make for a good story if my theory about these changes is correct (ie: going to even further lengths to hide their segregation policy from players, etc).

I've heard from party regs that segregation is now gone, everyone can see/play all the tables, can anyone confirm? Would be very mysterious, especially (again) without a word from the company.

ye I´ve been in some kind of pool for a few months. And now I´m not anymore. Anyone here who can tell us if they´re still in some segregated pool so we know if they still use it or not?

They don't bother to communicate anymore with us. We are regs so accroding to their standards we aren't even human beings. For the last 5 months PArty refused to discuss with us about the segregation they didn't even bother to explain it to us how it works. (moreover they never inform us that they incorporate it in a first place, just players notcied something fishy was going on).

Simply you won't get answers. It isn't like fixed system so don't be supirse if for like a week or so there won't be fish anymore.

I checked the Party Poker thread in the Internet Poker forum and didn't see anything about this, so I'm pretty skeptical that its true. I would imagine that there would be a lot of talk about it by now if it was. Either way, good to see their traffic tanking.

When you uninstall the party software and delete the party folder. Then install again, you are in the fishpool again for 1 days, even with the same acount.

What came about from these reports that the winning player segregation stopped?

That is quite interesting, but since it came after others said it was dead it made me ask the first question.

Wonder what the file is that says you're a shark and if it can just be altered in notepad.

Of course all the sharks are highly disappointed that there are no fish to squeeze any money from and that there opponents are all other highly skilled poker players and that the fish (the majority) are getting to enjoy a game of poker for a change. Of course I highly doubt that there is a rule book that says they have to disclose their strategy.

For poker rooms to do well, especially on networks they need a high volume of sharks, otherwise the imbalance of chips can send them out of business. By doing this party poker was trying to ensure a balance of chips on their side of the network, letting fish play fish and sharks play sharks so that they were still able to offer online poker to those who wanted it.

Their business decision is not yours, now it's time to adjust your business plans if you are playing for a living.

edited to:

winflips = '1'
#superuser = '1'

I was crushing for a few sessions but then got totally owned yesterday by one dude - not sure what's going on.

I was gonna install PP out of curiosity but that is just to obsurd to be true. What you mean is that you created the file rather than found it. I dont think party Poker would be that dumb to make it easy to find and to be able to edit it using notepad would be even dumber on their part. Nice try though
