After recent update players started complaining there is less traffic and no recreational players. Regulars started analyzing what they see in the lobby and came to the conclusion that players with different winrate (losers/breakeven/crushers) see different tables in the lobby.

There are multiple threads about this issue with details/TST scans/ screenshots/videos and etc.

wow... I guess it's great for online poker in the long run, but not making it public before launching it!?!? that's gotta suck for people who grind the site as a job as opposed to playing on Stars for eg.

No it's not great for poker in the long run lol... This is Partypoker trying to make poker less of a skillgame so people start winning less and just pushing money around and Party can rake it all.

I don't play on Partypoker atm but I have an account there, will never use it as long as this exists.

Who will be the first übergreedy one to see if playing 5/10 and winning, then crashing your bb/100 by openjamming 100% at nanostakes for a massive amount of hands helps to skew you towards the baaaaads at 5/10?

What is your a big winner at NLH, but a big loser at PLO ... do you play vs NLH sharks and PLO fish or do they average out?

Seems like there are a lot of holes in this if this is true. What if you lose massively at .01-.02, but are a big winner at 200NL? Does it segregate it based on your overall win rate or on each level you choose? If its by level then it prob would give you an incentive to take shots more often because lets say you've been winning for years at 200NL at a high clip and now your only playing the best, you mine as well take a shot at 400NL where you have lost in the past and play vs the fish until you have a good win rate, and repeat.

I HATE this but the main problem for me is the shady behaviour. If you want to do this at least be upfront with your customers and explain exactly how your site works. Put all info on the site, maybe display player ratings on the tables etc
Dont just make the change and hope noone will notice.

I have not played at Party in maybe eight years or more but this was one way to make sure that the trend will continue.

This really does suck for the better players but I would hope that most of them do an auto withdraw now. I wouldnt give these greedy bastards another penny of rake.

OMG...Party appeared to have completely lost their mind...what next, the fish get to decide if you are allowed in the game ala Macao Big Game.

We all know that all this is going to do is encourage all sorts of shady behaviour to overcome these restrictions, from multi-accounting to chip dumping.
