That doesn't prove anything. You can download anything over the internet and the fact that he writes good english just proves that he's fluent. Find something else.

I think you have it perfectly with the exception that his friend isn't Quaternion but is someone who got 6th in an FTOPS whos AIM was hacked as well. IMO the scammer has multiple HS poker players AIM/Facebook/etc accounts hacked and is doing this to more than one person at a time.


OP FWIW I believe you, and think you were just gullible thinking your friend was wanting you to send some random person money. Next time just goto to one of the many transfer threads here or other forums and get someone to do it, you will have to send first but its probably a whole lot safer.

I just got back from Vegas with my wife about 3 weeks ago and it was the first time we saw it. We really liked it and bought a few DVDs from there, and got a few from here. We actually watched season 1-6 in these 3 weeks.

When I chose to commit hacker related crimes, I always chose Computer science Profs (Quaternion) and ex Microsoft Programmers ( Richard Brodie) as my victim's. These guys seem like good targets for hacking related crimes. WP OP, WP.

It seems to be a trend that cheaters and scammers start threads on 2+2 to try and get there online accounts unfrozen. I believe the whole chinese DoN cheating scandal was broke wide open after one of the cheaters started a thread and incriminated himself in the process.

I never even knew about these forums until a friend of mine I called yesterday told me to post this situation on a site called 2+2. I'm not a 'poker junkie'. I just watch the WSOP and WPT and play from time to time online. I play a lot live though.

I was gullible. And I feel so stupid at the moment. But I also feel more stupid for posting this on the forum as now everyone thinks I'm the scammer.

Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved soon enough. I was actually dying to play some of the FTOPS events and now I can't. That's the most thing thats bothering me about this whole situation.

Rosendito Aquino is probably some person (real or fictional as I think its pretty easy to transfer monies to 3rd world countries without showing ID) who will collect the money and send it to the scammer, or it is the scammer and he lives in Manila and is Rosendito Aquino or has a fake id.

Did you not read the post? That scammer played it very well against me. And AGAIN this is the first time I encounter something like this. It was very scary and my confidence was hurt by the fact that I was cheated.

From my side of the story, everything was pointing towards Richard. How was I supposed to know? However, I also stated in my first post that it might not be him and I don't want to accuse him of any wrongdoing but I kind of had to.

OP thinks his scammed funds (which now rightly belong to him of course) are being re-scammed by QL because he won't western union them back.

OP starts a thread to accuse QL of stealing his scammed funds from him, being too stupid to realize that QL is gathering information on him in order to turn him over to the authorities (even though QL basically told him at the end of the posted chat what he was doing WTF?). When he realizes this, he back-peddles, apologizing to QL in the desperate hope that QL will stop in his criminal pursuit.

It's possible OP is not stevedapimp, although I tend to think he is based on his aggressive, persistent manner. It's unlikely that the real victim would start this thread after getting his money back quickly along with a letter from PS support saying I did it voluntarily. And if you google p0kerm0n you will discover that it's possible, but not so easy, to connect that account name (which I only use on Pokerstars because Quiet Lion was taken) with me. In fact the only hit for p0kerm0n kirkland is this thread. And it's kind of amusing that someone named Mohammed would think there's something suspicious about two people having the same first name.

The hacker is likely stevedapimp, since before the transaction yesterday he attempted to get me to wire money to West Virginia. This is the log from July 17, 2010:
