1) No one has to play - if the player doesn't like any aspect of the game they can just walk away. I play in all of these games and I have no problem tipping 7-9%, and having hosted games myself, I think it's much more work than is being portrayed by many in this thread - "1 hour of accounting on a spreadsheet" - but the whole "I am going to place my value judgement on the absurdity of a home game host making X for Y effort" is just silly - you don't get to decide that, the market does. You are of course entitled to your opinion, and that is what these forums are all about - discussion etc. The way though that OP and others are so outraged by this though just reeks of jealousy and bitterness - OP clearly just butt hurt from getting bounced from a very favorable game. Net net, if you don't like it, go pay rake. This is the core issue of the post and really all there is to it in my view.

2) The OP is accused of lying/exaggerating etc, by a host (made by a burner), but the OP doesn't really deny that he ISNT the player the host is calling him out to be. Seems pretty obvious the OP is the person the burner host is talking about - OP initial claims clearly need to be taken with grain of salt clearly - should be anyway as the truth is always somewhere in the middle and as I said, it's never just about 1 thing. In the end though seems like OP has kind of been exposed a little bit here as exaggerating/skewing the internal post and the back and forth - would be nice if OP came clean and clarified a few things in his post.

went back through your other posts - you are SootedCards15 - got it. Don't know what to say bud - every host said you were a horrendous tipper (this is going back MONTHS), and in fact some said, you basically tipped nothing initially on some very big tournament wins, and they had to basically embarrass you and educate you on what was reasonable. 2-3 hosts DM'd me to complain about you and asked me where you came from.

Personally, I am not mad or upset etc etc - I am not a host, but part of that community and I do think your initial post is written very favorably towards your side of it based on what the other hosts told me about your tipping.

You can still play in the games just tip 5-10% you won't have any issues

Or go play somewhere else 'legit' with higher rake, that rakes you even when you lose, against tougher competition and with slower payouts.
