Nah they just play in secret rooms reserved for ballahs eyes only.

Don't you think people were going to eventually tire of all the railtards?

Uh 25/50 isn't the highest stakes on ftp you know, and there is a $200/$400 Omaha game running aorn. You fail.

I don't see how that takes away much emphasis at all on his point.

It seems pretty clear that the NL poker economy online is crumbling from the top. Nosebleed games died off online last summer, and since then we've seen the 25/50 NL games on FT largely die, and now there are even less 10/20 NL games.

The statistics OP posted seem pretty related to overall trends lately, so it's not just an odd day for online poker.

these sites make their money from micro limits and midstakes, i will guarantee that if ftp wants action they will send pros to the high stakes tables.

The online high stakes action will be thin during the WSOP is what the poster a few back meant, because many of them will be hoping to soak up some of the dead money in the big live games.

And FWIW, there is still a good bit of action, it's just not in Hold Em, it seems to me.

so people who don't normally play high stakes online will go to vegas for the WSOP and then get online to play poker?

it seems like high stakes poker in general is seeing a big drop. people seem to be making the same comments about both the online and the live games

Maybe people are realising that they don't have to win 100K/200k a week to live a good life.

The structure of online NL is overdue for a blind/ante change to create more action for higher stakes imo.

Also, most high stakes players won't play each other. They just sit and wait for a <'((((><. The problem is that most fish are broke or they won't take shots anymore unless they buy in for the minimum which kills a ring game.

It definitely seems like 10/20 NL+ would greatly benefit from an ante system and a 40BB+ minimum buy-in.

1k/2K HORSE and 200/400 PLO been running pretty steady in the evenings this week on FTP.

Exactly... There has been a slowdown overall it seems but remember there's also been a shift in popularity to PLO. The HORSE games have been busier lately as players are practicing/learning HORSE for the WSOP event.

Ivey - Degenyamine Horse heads-up was epic. Came after David cleared something like $700K from PLO.

Dead indeed.

the nosebleed NL games wouldn't be dead if a lot of the sharks would be willing to eat each other, instead they all just sit at individual tables waiting for some rich fish to arrive.

you almost never see the regulars tangle with each other NL, hence no action... ummm yeah, that and no Degenyamine chum in the water...
