Olivier Busquet Appreciation Thread - Page 3 - Poker News

ESPN should hire him as their top man about poker. Seems to be one of those guys that just outclasses everyone. His thought process is amazing, and when he´s talking you always understand what he´s on about.Worst thing is that I can´t transfer his thought process when I´m playing myself, still looking for a solution on that though. By far the greatest one. Get him on all poker shows and fire the rest.

I have to contribute here as well. It was a pleasure to listen to him and I think I seriously learned a lot. Antonio is solid as well, but Busquet is great. I want to punch the t.v. when Hellmuth is on. thank you Olivier if you're reading this.

I'll go on record and say that I actually learned a thing or two about playing middle pocket pairs listening to his commentary for the past few days. I feel like I have a strong grasp of 88 and 99 both in my hand and when putting villain on a range.

I have definitely been underplaying those hands.

It does require actually talking to a real person though.

Was waiting for this thread to appear. Olivier is the best commentator I have every heard in poker by a million miles. Also he seems like a really nice and very intellegent guy. He's made the wsop boradcasts for me. Much love!!

I finished listening to this podcast a few minutes ago and it was great hearing him outside of commentating. He is extremely intelligent and very passionate about poker and has done a great job during the ME broadcasts.
