Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
the fb signin just started for me yesterday. got around it by just clicking "i don't have a fb account" - usually had to reload the page and click no account a 2nd time for the stream to actually start
i just started the stream and "i don't have a fb account" is still on the screen, so it's still not absolutely required.

I get the same thing and my cookies are still present and I still have an active facebook session.

Ohhh Brian.

Hastings completed with an ace up, and Bari called. On fourth, both players paired.
"Aces," the dealer announced, indicating that Hastings was first to act.
"Why?" Hastings questioned.
"It's razz," Bari explained. "Aces are low."

Perhaps Matusow's comments in the WSOP commentary about Hastings have some credence to them?

Yup, (I'm pretty sure the Facebook log in is new, and) even though I have a Facebook account, I clicked the "don't have" and it works fine.
Also, after reading the other post, I uninstalled Veetle and it seems to work better. You just have to click remind me later when it prompts you to install Veetle.

Bach Scoops Negreanu, Assumes Chip Lead
Posted < 1 min. by SantanaBandana
We reached the table on sixth street, where Negreanu led out. Mosseri released, and Bach raised. Negreanu called, and then checked dark on seventh. Bach bet, and Negreanu raised. Bach re-raised, and Negreanu sighed, then called.
Bach tabled for an ace-high flush and a seventy-five low. Negreanu tabled, for a nine-high flush, and a seventy-six low. Neither were good, and he jumped on top of his chair.
"What the f*** is going on in this game?" he blurted. "What the f***??? I had a straight on fifth. What the f***???"
"Nobody beats him [Bach]," someone at the table told him.
Negreanu doubled through Bach the next hand, but is still under 10,000 chips. Bach appears to be our chip leader - he has over 200,000.

Geeesh, Daniel. Get a grip. That's poker. You make it sound like a straight is not beatable.

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
Why is it that when I open a second live stream on my second monitor, one of the streams goes 'off air'? I've tried opening in a new tab, new window...
I guess I'll fire up the laptop and watch the 2-7LB on my computer then the seniors event on my laptop.

He started out with 3456 all diamonds, then hit a 7. That's pretty unlucky not to get at least half.

Not sure if anyone is watching the 2-7 but is lucky chewy likely to break a J-9 or even a 10-9 in that all-in hand? Other dude seemed real confident with the snap call

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
Who the **** is Larry Wright?
It seems that the whole "3 players left, 2 are pros, 1 is a no-name short-stack" = the no-name winning the damn thing! Watched it happen a few times already this year.
Rooting for Cantu, but I'll betcha Wright ships it!

54 left in horse
Ivey and Hellmuth top 10 chip stack, let's hope they reach the final table.

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
5 handed in the 2-7 you had Lindgren, Grinder, Chewy, Cantu and random. I wouldn't mind any of these 4 guys winning I thought. Check back a few hours later and random has won it.
This is just so annoying this WSOP. Big names coming 2nd and 3rd while random wins the bracelet. Nobody has heard about random before the tournament. Nobody pays much attention when they do win the bracelet. And we'll probably never hear about random ever again. As a spectator this is just bad when it happens so frequently.

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
Every time a random wins, it's good for the games. Let's call it the "If this guy can do it, I can do as well" effect.
Remember Chris Moneymaker.
OTOH 2-7 NL SD is one of the few games i never played, and it seems to me there is not much skill involved.
Could be wrong of course.

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
10 years of randoms winning 90% of the bracelets and every main event has worn out its effectiveness
