Matt Marafioti 360,000
Hoyt Corkins 360,000

Just joining the stream now, can someone tell me if the chipcounts from the WSOP page above are about right?

Looks good. Hope they'll color-up the yellows soon.

They said Ivey had a bet with Dwan for Ivey to win a bracelet so Dwan not playing doesn't affect it

Its pretty surreal actually if you think about hellmuth has 11 brac in holdem ivey none as i actually think Ivey is better holdem player then Hellmuth. Just my believe though i could be very wrong ofcourse.

Cheers, thought something was amiss when I saw Hoyt Corkins still in according to the chip count but saw no cowboy hat at the table

"Better holdem player" is one hellofa relative term. HU4rollz Ivey is probably going to come out ahead. When it comes to crushing 4000-player $1500 NLHE tourneys, I'm actually pretty sure that Hellmuth is superior (ie. better at taking chips from really bad recreational players)

well Ivey was 10th 2003 in main event 2004 he was like final 2-3 tables and final tabled it few years ago. Just those 3 very deep run in main event last 9 years has me to believe Ivey is also best no limit mtt player in the world. Also with his WPT final table record most of everyone, so do you think its far off to think this?

It's Hellmuth 46th final table, very impressive for 89 cashes.

Far off, absolutely not. Still somewhat off though. I might be mistaken here, but isn't all of Hellmuths bracelets NLHE and all of Ivey's non-NLHE? Sure, Hellmuth is still a very elite level mixed games player and Ivey is a very elite level NLHE player, but the discrepancy between the poker forms they hold bracelets in is hard to discount imo.

(edit: when I speak of NLHE in this post, I'm talking about the large field low(er) buyin ones)

Its interesting to talk about not going into any bad mouthing. Large fields you say ofcourse you cant go into any larger fields then main event right? 2003 Ivey lost sick pot 10 left vs Moneymaker and would be favorite take it down if that Ace didnt hit river for Moneymaker. 2004 he maybe made a rather poor play get knocked out but still was a cooler with 2-3 tables left JJ vs Blacks KK. Then he final tabled the year Cada won and lost to that donk ak vs aq also bad luck. Hellmuth has no Deep runs in main event since the boom started Ivey has at least 3 maybe more iam forgetting. Then wpt there Ivey has most final tables of everyone so Is there any player on this earth we can say with confidence is better in nlh mtts? I admit iam a fan of Ivey so maybe biaz but these facts looks rather strong in Iveys favors vs Hellmuth who has alot of bracelts in small fields.
