Poker News is so bad. They showed Eli Elezra with 50,000 chips in 10th place. He went out in 19th place. Bleh.

Yes the coverage from pokernews has been frustrating for sure. I understand that we're not paying for updates, and that it must be incredibly hard to get accurate chip counts in the midst of all the hoopla going on, but they're like the biggest site covering this you'd think they'd be on their A-game.

Just noticed Vojtech Ruzicka top 10 in 6 max. Beast, is all I have to say. For those that don't know who he is, he got 2nd in wcoop main event last year to kalllllle. He is a beast at 6 max. Watch this guy own...Although Radoja/xqsays is just as sick...Should be a very nice final table

Stul HI-Lo is on break so their stream should be replaying some of the table in the meantime

I agree that they play differently, I just thought it was interesting that the two games that are at least perceived to be quite similar get such differing turnouts.

My question was why Pot Limit Holdem is deemed more worthy of a $10k event than any stud game or Omaha 8b. I'd bet that at least 90% of the 5k Stud 8b field would still have played at 10k.

Friedman's way of acting is a lot worst than Hellmuth's.

But when you've already reported Eli Elezra out in 19th place, why would you show him with 50,000 chips and in 10th place when there are only 9 people left? It has nothing to do with reporting a poker hand. The dude was gone 10 players agoooooooooo.

Agreed that is sloppy, I meant more reporting accuracy of hands.

IMO they're doing better as an organization than the WSOP.

It's sloppy at times but there are multiple staff doing different updates trying to get news to us ASAP. Every year they post some inaccurate information, but I think they're doing a pretty good job overall this year. (I have no affiliation with anything poker-related)

It's a fair few mistakes though, surely just quickly re read it before you click post. I'd rather wait an extra 2/3 mins and read an accurate hand. Also the Chip counts and arrows after are always so off and don't make sense.

Better than nothing obv...

Their reporting accuracy is constantly wrong. They constantly report the hands to the wrong player, claiming xxxx player held xxx hand that would have eliminated him, but he actually doubled. I can get mixing up occasionally, but they do it so often it is a joke. That along with the random stupidity, you would think they would have someone monitoring the actual blog feed, and possibly spend those 30 seconds it takes to correct. Hire someone to do that or some **** ? Really, i love tony g, but give me a break with this horrendous garbage every single time
