Wat?? Wattt?!?!?! Andy had a king?!?!
Grinder Back Into the Chip Lead
Michael Mizrachi
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi raised on the button to 80,000. Both Chris Klodnicki and Andy Bloch made the call, acting from the small blind and big blind, respectively.
On the flop K Q 2 , Klodnicki and Bloch checked before Mizrachi bet 200,000. After Klodnicki folded, Bloch called.
The turn was the 2 and Bloch checked. Mizrachi bet 350,000 and Bloch called.
After the fell on the river, Bloch bet 500,000. Mizrachi raised to 2.5 million and Bloch made the call.
Mizrachi showed the K K 9 7 for top full house. Bloch showed the Q Q 8 5 for the second full house and lost the pot.

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
I'm not a PLO aficionado either, can someone tell me what Grinder would raise there with that Bloch could beat? Does he really raise with a straight?

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
I mean it's not like bloch is repping any bluffs rly when he check/calls twice on kq22 rainbow then randomly donks 500 on the river. Is grinder really just 5xing on river as a bluff vs that line? worse for value? getting such ****ty odds on a call, grinder pretty much instantly raised too

He didn't have a king in his hand. If he did it would have been an even easier call since it's less likely mizrachi had 2 K's. I didn't say it was a bad call, it would be incredibly hard to get away from that hand especially against an opponent like mizrachi that is capable of bluffing there.

Not watching the stream, but on wsop.com it listed Bloch as having Q-Q-8-5 on the hand in question and not K-Q-x-x. Maybe they have the cards wrong on there....if not, wtf are you talking about Lifeistough?

Re: ***OFFICIAL WSOP SWEAT THREAD***
sloppyklod announced after the hand he had the case king, not like it's relevant when they don't know midhand

Grinder could be raising river there with worse full houses, like Q-2-x-x, K-2-x-x, considering how passive Bloch played it.

maybe K2 i guess but i don't think he'd raise that much, and grinder instantly did it. bloch also has a reputation for not being able to fold on rivers.
