Anyone know off the top of their head what the record is for most final tables in one WSOP? With Ivey making yet another Final Table (4th in just over a week) that question came to mind.
I would think that the record may be skewed in favor of a player who grinded in the beginning years of WSOP play because the fields were so small. Then I'd be curious to know what player has the most FT in the last decade at one WSOP?
Thanks in advance!
Hellmuth had three 1st place and one 2nd place in 1993.
I hate they hate on someone for not calling a raise from the SB for 1 bet in position and don't even realize less than 10 minutes later that they are justifying it by saying how hold em plays so much bigger and the chip leader only has 20 bets and it goes quick etc.
They seem to totally discount chip retention in a tournament.
