He used up all his powers doing this:

Cliffs: calls out the entire five card hand of the guy folding in the small blind based on no action whatsoever.

Pretty impressive IMO

If he could do that when the cards are live - he would win every tournament he played.

I still can't get over the calling an all-in raise and drawing 2 cards play. Maybe DN could post what he was thinking?

I don't know anything about 2-7 but he doesn't seem too upset by his play according to this tweet:

Daniel Negreanu ‏@RealKidPoker

Busted in 13th place. Needed a 34589T or a Jack but caught a Q. Didn't win any hands down the stretch. Main event next not sure what day yet

Well it looks like he was the big blind (which was 8k) and down to 31k, and holding 762 so it's understandable. When you factor in that you can't limp in NL 2-7 draw so an open is at least 16k, he was really pretty short. Similar spot to the shortstack any ace shove in holdem maybe.

The hand is reported here

His tweet is a touch misleading as his first card was a queen after Bloch drew a king. Had a lot of outs at that point sure but still would have been fortunate having drawn 2 v 1.

Should be a good FT.

Good post. The reason I questioned the call is because its single draw and when you are drawing for 2 cards, your chances of pairing up (as he did) or hitting above your opponent are very high... and you are right his tweat is misleading since both cards were dealt at the same action (single draw).

So after Vanessa Rousso's ordeal in having to wear a cockroach costume another chick loses a bet and is forced to don this kitty suit in front of everyone in the main event? Oh noes, how awful for these poor girls, I'm sure they are just dying with embarrassment at all this extra attention they are getting, the unforeseen side effects of taking part in these hilarious prop bets can be a real bummer, be warned ladies!

Schulman and Juanda appear to be good at this game. This is Schulman's 3rd final table in 4 years in this event (he won in '09) , this is Juanda's 4th straight final table in this event (he won last year).

as for 2012 multiple bracelet winners - with 11 left in the 10k 2-7, there were 2 possible dual bracelet winners, and they busted in 11th and 10th. no winners left in the 1k nlhe, and david baker is the only one remaining in the wsop championship with 20 left. if he busts, then the main event is all that is left for this to be the first wsop without a multiple bracelet winner since 1999 (there were 16 events that year, this year there are 62)
