No. He signed with some european poker room a few months back and announced that he was resuming his poker career.

Nah, he lost (and badly misplayed, imo) a few Stud hands.

Well, the last time he won the Players Championship he final tabled the ME 2 weeks later, so when he's hot he's hot I guess!

I don't think anyone could deny that the Grinder is one of the greatest tourney players, while his technical ability in mixed games may not be as high as the nosebleed mixed game grinders he clearly makes up for it with outstanding understanding and instincts when it comes to tournament poker.

Confirmed beast though - he seems like a real down to earth guy and I'm happy he won. I hope he had all his action this time

Greatest? Depends how big your pool of "greats" is.

I said one of the greatest, not greatest. To me that means top 10 or so (out of the million (s) of tournament players in the world)

Not that my explination matters to you, considering you had evidently pre-determined what you would infer from my post without actually reading it, I imagine you'll do the same with this one

I posted my congrats to the guy who just binked the players champ for the 2nd time in 3 years and mentioned that I think he's one of the best tournament players out there.

It's hardly nut hugging, is it? Go argue with yourself in a mirror, you might enjoy it more when you have less time to wait to troll the responses

Agree that commentary would have been nice, however Tuchman surely deserves a day off.

So how does this ante only work? Does the sb always have to bring in?

Tuchman has been awesome. He truly does a good job. Enthusiastic about the game showing genuine interest in what's going on, never gets out of line and seems to really enjoy his job. One of the best out there, especially if he's got a talkative guest pro to discuss with.

How has no one mentioned Harrison Gimbel, crushing this event. He won pca few years ago when he was 18. Guy is a nerd, but so sick
