In all seriousness I would like to congratulate Hellmuth, I have always said the game needs him and the game certainly needs him winning a 12th bracelet. For every bracelet that Phil wins he matures a year – moving up from the mental age of an 11-year-old to a 12-year-old is a truly significant step
Tony G – What a day for poker! Phil Hellmuth you have made the WSOP explode!

The other huge news today is Andy Frankenberger beating Ivey heads-up for a bracelet. Despite an explosive winning run and picking up a WPT Player of the Year title it always seemed that other professionals poured scorn on Andy’s game. Beating Ivey heads-up is one in the face for them… and a half! Andy has done a great thing for the businessman like me who turn to poker. I’m sure the likes of Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz will be choking on their 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 4 sausages, 2 tomatoes and 4 rounds of toast at breakfast this morning! ‘Frankendonker’ has come back and bit you harder on the ass than Zasko bites unauthorised visitors to TonyResort. Andy is a poker ginger ninja and will win enough to buy himself another place in the Hamptons I am sure! Where does Schwartz go from here? He continues down the path of becoming the young David Benyamine.
Holy crap lol. The dig at Schwartz is massive.

I think the last update was that he was seen in a 50/100/200 cash game.

Not to sound like a tongue licker, but Ivey has three bracelets over the past two WSOPs that he played (not counting 2011), a recent ME FT, the heads up last night, his recent win in Australia plus another FT there. Everyone loves to see the mighty fall but credit where it's due.

What he showed last night is his humanity. He feels pressure, makes mistakes, gets tired, and has emotions. Everyone in poker always talks like he's immune to these things. He was certainly at his worst last night but some of the criticism here is silly and comes more out of people looking at him as a false God than anything else.

He got it in with an OESD and a backdoor flush draw and completely missed so he's obviously going through emotional problems.

Visible frustration, leaning back in his chair, puffing his lips a couple of times, and a pretty stunned/shocked head jolt when he saw the K high hand.

He didn't explode or anything, but it was obvious that he was frustrated and a little rattled.

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is not only in Las Vegas to chase WSOP bracelets.

After his exit at WSOP event #16 ($1,500 NLHE Six-Handed) last Friday the Swedish online phenomenon went straight to the Rio Hotel's cash game section - and took a seat in a $50/$100/$200 PLO game.

The 21-year-old Swede played among others the high stakes shark Brian "tsarrast" Rast, the former winner of WSOP's $10,000 heads-up event Ayaz Mahmood, Rami Boukai and no 16 from last year's WSOP Main Event Ryan Lenaghan.

And - according to CardPlayer - Viktor Blom sat down with a huge bundle of $100 bills and assorted chips - and he apparently had everyone covered - except for Rast."

Not a lot of information.
